That LP animal skin is likely water buffalo.

I JUST BOUGHT GONGA HEADS FOR MY CONGA AND QUINTO GIOVANNI GONGAS AND NO ONE SITS IN THE RIM AS SUPPOSED TO. NO MATTER WHAT I DO IT WILL NOT SEAT PROPERLY IN THE RIM HEAD. IT'S ABOUT 2MM OFF AND I'M FURIOUS!!

the Giovanni Hidalgo Congas have a wider rim, you need a different size of heads for them. they are made specifically only for Galaxy/Hidalgo Congas I believe.

You need the evans extended rims. Make sure they have the letters EC 1100 for example, or EC1175 or EC 1250 ...
