Inception mode is so you can do a circular 360° motion recording. You hold gimbal parallel to ground and turn the gimbal clockwise to make a full 360° turn or more if you wish. In playback it is cool looking to do a single circle and if you have a device that's installed with image stabilizer it's really smooth. Not too many or playback can make you dizzy.

For Inception mode, you can hold the joystick either left or right. It will slowly turn up to 1 and 1/2 times in either direction. Pretty cool effect I use when shooting scenery videos or some extra clips for music videos. It’s actually one of the best feature on the Moza Mini😁👍🏽

I purchased the Moza over the DJI Osmo since the Moza's weight capacity is 60g higher than the Osmo, and I have a heavy Note 9 (300g with case). Any suggestions for a lightweight light that would mount to the gimbal's accessory port? I realize I may need to remove my phone's case to counteract the phone's heft. I just unboxed mine today and have watched this a couple times. I can not get my roll arm to unlock. I don't get any response from the joystick. Set up seemed so easy. Thank you for this video. Really helpful. Please if you can help me. I have just bought one and tried to use it for a shoot. The picture when using the app was jittering, as if it was trying to focus but the shot remained in focus. I couldn't do anything to stop the camera/picture jittering from time to time. It was doing it when it was recording and also when it wasn't recording (me getting shot ready) it was not the gimbal shaking/jittering but it was the picture/ camera. Why? It has ruined all of my footage as it jitters spasmodically for no reason through every shot. It didn't do it all the way through just at random times. The camera does not do this when using the regular phone camera app. I am using a Nokia 5.3 with my Mini Mi and the genie app. Any ideas?

I've watched couple other reviews of that gimbal, the inception mode is called that way after a scene in the movie "Inception" where in a corridor everything is sort of rotates, you are supposed to point the gimbal forward like if it was a selfie stick and not the usual upward and then the joystick controls the rotation of the phone, very cool thing! BTW, did you try the Freevision vilta M gimbal? if yes, how would you compare those two?
