On Dec 26th I just watched the Nutcracker at TPAC in Nashville, Tennessee, the snow fall was very delicate and pretty. It wasnt huge clumps like that and didnt collect on the ground that I could tell. After act 1 and the curtain fell, "snow" came down on the audience. It was pretty cool. Apparently they dont have a good foam machine or the settings were incorrect.
@emmadominguez140710 күн бұрын
at my nutcracker we have foam that falls for snow also, but idk why there was so much of it here. that’s terrifying to dance on considering i was nervous dancing on the little foam we had

Loved that you showed the initial problems with the 'snow' machine and how the teachers were quick to direct the dancers to take care - a perfect example of why full dress rehearsals are important! Hope you're having/had a good festive break!

ya try and get just dry ice with no additive soaps or foam bc it’s slick and is why snow queen keeps falling bc the stage just gets all wet (so hace them in tables so the floor on the sides dosent get the resin removed (have vilanist resin there bows and play bumble bee and you’ll be good
@nenosuns15 күн бұрын
@@kiitylove4881 if i'm not mistaken, they only used dry ice in their previous performances. idk if they changed theaters or smth, but eva does say in the video it's their first time using the machines in this theater :/

The fact that you addressed racism in the original by avoiding Blackface and Yellowface is truly commendable. I couldn't enjoy any of the ones on KZbin because they made me feel uncomfortable.
