Hey. This video was really helpful and inspiring . I am planning to apply for fashion design foundation course next year. I just thought of asking you that would it be easier to do the foundation course and then go for BA fashion design program or directly do the BA fashion design program? I ain't that good at drawing so just doubt my self in getting selected.

Hi! I'm assuming that you're talking about the foundation course and central saint martins/UAL. I would definitely advise you to apply for the foundation course instead of BFA fashion design, as it is highly competitive since most BA students are selected from students who have completed their (or another) foundation program. I directly applied to the BA fine arts program at CSM, and I got rejected straight away (in comparison, I received an offer from Parsons with a large scholarship). My other friend, who is extremely talented also had a similar experience with a CSM BA course. However, I know several people who in my opinion had weaker portfolios (3? 4?) and they successfully got into the UAL foundation program.

양수아 Yes, all BA except for CSM, which I applied Foundation. Accepted to all!

Gabriela Jin I can’t remember exactly, but I believe I took 5 complete looks, so like 7ish garments?
