I grew up with these guys and went to EVERY backyard gig and bar gigs. We were all really tight. My name is Gina and my brother Johnny Knaack sometimes sang for them for fun. Brock showed up for my sisters celebration of life after her unfortunate passing. It's been a while since I've seen Mallard but the last time I saw him he had a cast on......as usual 🤣 Brings back sooooooo many memories of my 20s. Now I'm 50! 30 years ago? Where did the time go? Please post full album asap

remember seeing these guys in a parking garage at Brookhurst and hamilton. The guitar player had a cast on his left arm. My friend and I were on bikes and afraid to go into the party so we watched from the outside of the parking garage through the little windows.

Michael Nutt should've went in man, you would not have been treated bad, unless you started trouble. All were welcome, but we were wary of outsiders because a lot of people targeted H.B. locals

ппшлпгп henrячилнßüö I think he’s talking about the Santa Ana riverbed show. It was behind that apartment building. Think they had an underground parking structure. That shit was nuts 😂

Did EA even play that day? Seems like HFL played a few songs before the hbpd showed up and shut it down. Seems like it was on the edge of Newport and HB hoping to cause confusion Asbury to who could shut it down. Post more! Good shit. HBFSU

Paul Apokalipz Most of the EA shows, the Skins were the rulers of the roost. However, I do remember one show in particular where three Skinheads were attacked (rat-packed) by a mob of scoundrels; A 'mixed bag' so to speak. Which side of the fence were you on, if I may inquire?

Joachim Peiper I was at most of EA's early shows, aka house parties. This was oh what, 86-88? I was a skin, not an "HB Skin", I was an indie, and yes the Skins dominated most shows in HB, but it mostly out of town skins. There were some of us who didn't play sides and got along with all involved, esp if it meant smashing the PD, or troublemakers.

I picked up this record here in Aberdeen WA last year. It's pretty cool! I'm a metalhead but I totally appreciate the crossover going on here with the riffs. I'd like to know more about it like year of release etc?My copy is still in the shrink wrap and has been signed "To Corey, You Suck the Little Knight.... "It's a good night...So WATCH OUT!....Could be Bad Tonight." lol please explain? Does this ring a bell??!? Cheers!!

Man that song brings back some great memories. They always had a killer sound. That other band they used to play shows with sucked, no offense to the other guys but the guitarist, what a knob, that half bald long hair sucked. The best show ever had to be the house trashing party. That was insane.
@joachimpeiper45049 жыл бұрын
Patricia Williams Which "house trashing party" Patricia? There were several.
