Ty. Just got one. Perfect solution to my problem. So many family members have something like an outdoor clothes dryer that’s no where near the parking. Now I can go see family in rural Colorado without having to worry about charging. My dad’s shop has a 50 amp air compressor outlet and I can make it work but this is going to make it a breeze! We do a lot of car camping and can’t wait to add this to my assortment of adapters. Opens so many more possibilities.

I've been mulling the options in this space. This does seem like a potential one (the 50A Tesla one, that is) .. I think I'll give it a go.

I hope the J1772 never becomes out dated because it is often available for FREE fior 2 to 3 hours use at places like grocery stores. These chargers (often Clipper chargers) are often able to be installed at a lower cost to the proprietor and come with installation options like a pole etc. And because it is Level 2 the amount of free electricity is somewhat capped to less than a dollar or so per hour. Could these change to NACS? Yes of course but the costs can be significantly higher. Also check out the VOLTA system of free J1772 chargers. They are expanding to Level 3 as well (not free) but they are an awesome addition for a bit of a charge while shopping. I go out of my way to shop at a store with a free J1772 charger.
