I didn't realize it at the time. I thought she was being controlling, playing hard-to-get, and being dramatic. But rewatching it again, this was a most self-less act Villanelle had done. Eve asked to make it stop, and V listened to her.

I think this is the moment Eve truly realizes that they can’t live without each other. She’s given up this point on pretending otherwise and trying to fight it. She knows Villanelle is inevitable.

The awkward moment when Laura Neal forgot about this scene and the last three seasons of the show... And decided to ruin Villanelle & Eve characters and the development of their relationship. I wish Phoebe Waller- Bridge was there to write the final season. What a shame.

​​@@chance757agrees she is terrible. Worst season hands down, she totally ruined an amazing show and the amazing chemistry and relationship between Villanelle and Eve. She didn't understand the characters, she didn't understand why the series was so loved and appreciated, she did exactly the opposite of what needed to be done in a season finale 🤦. Aside from a few good moments here and there, the majority of the season and the direction that she gave to the story is rubbish.

More awkward than Laura Neal was a part of writing the last episode and start back to the beginning. I put off the last season until recently and I have never wished such ill will on someone as much as Laura Neal. She not only completely wasted not just an entire season but it's the series finale! 🤬

It is still a brilliant series. Honestly, it is not the end of the world. You the fans have to realize you will never get your way. Be grateful for what you have and stop complaining. Hats off to the cast especially Jodie who is one of the most amazing, talented, kind and beautiful human beings ever.
