Amazing! My V2 280K tested to 278AH, so much improved!

I have four 48v battery banks using EVE LF380K V? for my completely off grid home in Cabo San Lucas. The high tier power rate is $.35-45 per kWh. I'm literally sitting back laughing at everyone else sweating and dying while I run AC 24/7/365 using these batteries. Why laughing? Because people won't think out of the box or away from what is "normal". Combined with ridiculously low property taxes (.1%) I'm absolutely loving it. Once I build my pool, I will be building up to an additional four banks with these batteries. I am running 50 300-370w panels but that is where I am currently lacking compared to battery capacity.

Please be careful, we have had customers in the U.S. Virgin islands now being targeted by local authorities once they realize the size of the battery bank. I think they are concerned more people will start doing the same thing and the local utility company may have revenue problems. Already they have many restrictions on solar panels...

@@sfkenergy interesting to hear but that won't happen here. Whether it comes to HVAC techs, electricians, plumbers....I am absolutely stunned how stupid the locals are here. This includes one solar installation company I had come over to troubleshoot my 7200w inverter that got wet. I can't even find an AC tech to evacuate my mini-splits because they never had proper training. This place is a joke, people move here and pay a fortune for poorly constructed homes with no insulation.

I just bought what were labelled Eve 304Ah 'Grade-A' on Australian ebay. They had QR codes that gave the info matching that, but they had the octagonal terminal bases that (I have been told on forums) only the LF280K v.3 has. I tested one at 308Ah, but still returned them as I think they were Grade-B 280K v.3. If the seller had been honest they may have been a good buy still. I'd love the ones you sell with those big flat terminals, but I suspect shipping to Australia would be too expensive.

Really the price is what determines which cell is best. When I purchased my tester (also a ZKE) it was defaulting to 40 amp charge and discharge, despite the manual saying 30 amps. Several hundred tests later, still working well. The certified means it passed all tests the Chinese government has to be installed in electric vehicles. I am aware non-certified are cheaper, but honestly, do you really want a cell the Chinese government won't let you install in a vehicle? Likely they are 100% identical, but I always pay the extra (except the first batch of 16 EVE 280, that was under $100 each including shipping). The 304s are great cells. I also think you should probably rethink your system design if you're pulling more than 80 amps or so. Nice to have the ability to pull 200 amps, but normal operation you should keep it under 80 amps (unless of course you only want 90 minutes of run time).

200A discharge is well beyond specification (448W, thus 140A@3.2V), but for that short time of your test hat doesn't matter. You should do the load test for 5 minutes at least.
