with the fact that there's a hole in DANCER's chest in one scene, which is commonly related to depression, I feel that he is either in the hospital for the physical problems in his legs, or for the problems in his head, which are why he (possibly) takes anti-depressants. I never saw it as it being about drugs, actually I think your theory is much better. The colors are very important in Eve's Videos and pretty much every time I see this vivid colourful things I immediately asociate with emotions. Anyway, loved the video and I hope you keep going

Honestly, when I saw Dancer and Mika do the exact same movements, completely in sync and only in the same space at the end when they part with a mutual understanding, I took it to mean that they were the same person's past and present. (Just purely basing this off on their identical build and dancing animation. There's no certainty whether the artist just draws all humans identical or if it was intentional. They have different coloured eyes and hair, after all.) I didn't realise there was a male reading to Dancer, but that just makes it all the more interesting to me. Who knows if it was intentional of Eve to portray ftm transition alongside moving on with your life in general, maybe I am just projecting :,,D Good video! A very interesting watch! Yeah I had initially thought they may have been the same character with the overlapping movements to find later they are two separate characters. Even if some ideas may not be as strong as others I think there's room to connect with it however that may be. Music is a form comfort for a lot of people. Thank you, I try! Glad you enjoyed it. ^^

I noticied this basically just now but: In the video, despte seemingly being Dancer's Zingai, Dorothy only shares the screen with dancer once, and that is when he is in his sad NPC state. Every other time she's on screen, she' separate from him, always dancing still. His heart still dances, but he's no longer able to dance alongside it, to the point it pains him to watch. The one scene they are together is also during the verse "Won't you dance with me like this again someday?" She is also wearing black, and that MAYBE could be for mourning "the version of myself i cannot get back", thought i might be looking too deep there.

There was a theory in the comments of Last Dance that say that Mika is actually someone with cancer that dies, but that with Dancer have a Last Dance before she dies by that degenerative sickness. Good video tho

I assume that's from seeing her lose her hair. Another person suggested new beginnings for mika as hair shortening symbolised that in Japanese culture. (Can't remember if I put that in the video) Thanks!

My theory is that he is a zingai that helps the characters with their problems as a type of psychologist or psychiatrist, and he also learns from their patients and their experiences and uses them as an example for other patients or people he wants to help, like the book in last dance where experiences are passed on to another person or in outsider where it seems as if hitotsume is showing a recording or teaching the history of pattun, literary nonsense could be another example (also sorry for my bad English )

You’re welcome! Your English is fine. :) There are 3 main theories surrounding Hitotsume. Your theory fits with Hitotsume helping. Passing the papers on was a good explanation! Some people think he is bad because he hit the boy in literary nonsense but other people he was helping. The second theory is that Hitotsume it not good or bad. He is neutral. Which might explain his good and bad actions in the songs. He might be a reflection of all people. The third theory is that Hitotsume is Literary Nonsense boy’s Zingai. Which means Hitotsume is a reflections the boys thoughts/feelings. This is because the transform into Hitotsume for a second before melting.

Yeah he has a bad ending, he cannot solve his issues and puts on a brave face. Some of those issues are permanent and cannot be solved, like losing his legs. He can only cope before trying to accept it.

There's a different cover for the kara no kioku manga that I didn't consider looking at before making the video where Dancer has Sensei next to him so it makes it all the confusing. Dancer either has Dorothy or Sensei, or both (some characters have two zingais). It's hard to pin point so seeing the ref for mika would be nice ^^
