Is the payment for these sites the bounties or is there a payment at the end?

The only payment are the bounties, but you do these sites to farm escalations then do those sites for a possible high value drop.

I use a double sebo fit on my Confessor to lock quicker. I have yet to meet a ship that can out compete me just because of that.
