I hit the 10,000 hour mark on this game in February of this year.... And i really hope that this update breathes new interest in eve. its a beautiful and wonderful game, and im glad for the moment that ive won. I do still follow the better half of the creators tho :P

By far the most important part are the changes to minerals. You can spawn the type of ore you want through the new sov system and passive moon mining is back. This will crash the prices lowsec ores and (again) completely destroy the risk/reward ratio. And passive moon mining will do the same to common moon materials. This severely narrows viable mining opportunities down to rorqual+ fleets and the associated botting practices. The market has been utterly crashing in price since the changes were announced. The impact of everything else being introduced in this expansion is comparatively irrelevant.
