a few things. 1) cool video. I've been too scared of the DPS to go to the back but nice advice. 2) after you hack the sentry next to the tractor beam, fly towards the first area, and when you are far enough, the far turret will agro the remote defense grid unit next to the tractor beam and it won't agro back to you again! 3) the reason the tractor beam isn't working, is because it pulls those containers in the far area to the tractor beam but you hacked them already so there was nothing for it to pull. 4) Personally, i'd leave that third container in the first area alone for a minute. hack the far containers, hack the sentry next to the tractor beam, THEN go back to that last container but this time fail the hack on purpose. This will set off the site to "destruct" but if you fly far enough away, you should be fine. After the radiation is leaking everywhere, the rift appears and it's in a safe spot outside the radiation! you can fly the astero right into it and go to the secret room. P.S. The pristine container is pulled from this secret room so if you don't get it from that alarm hack, it will be in this next room. in this room, start the timer, hack 2 containers, restart the timer, 2 containers etc!!!

To any recent viewers of this guide. I used to regularly run this site in an Astero but in the last few weeks something has changed. This is my experience lately: I successfully hack the first defense grid, then the rift hack. I take the long rift to the back room and before I can even get to the defense grid hack I am hit multiple times taking me down to low armour. I have lost multiple asteros lately in this site which I used to breeze thru. I would be interested in replies from anyone with similar experiences.

just to add if you go back to the back of the room and target the large disk, hit it with a web or weapon, not a drone then burn straight up till about 80km a new rift opens up, and you can get 4 more loot cans I would suggest doing 2 cans then hacking the reset can then doing the last two.

it is not a bug, the tractor beam is supposed to tractor the "cloaked" containers from the back of the site towards you. if you activate the tractor beam before you go to the cans it will tractor in the invisible cans which then spawn right next to you and the back of the room will have nothing left to discover

may i know what fitting you have used to run the site especially the rigs i have an astero but i am terrible at fitting armor tanked ships

tans117 Usually I use a Small Gravity Capacitor Upgrade I, since the astero gets less of a scan strenght bonus than the T2 ships. The other two rigs are a Small Auxiliary Nano Pump I, and a Small Anti-Explosive Pump I. The reason I only use T1 rigs is because of the calibration, the scanning rig takes so much that this is the only reasonable way I have found to fit 3 usefull rigs. The rest is quite standard, 2x EANM, DCU II, Coreli A-type small armor repairer, Small Electrochemical capacitor booster to keep the repairer runing, and a 5MN MWD II. If you wish to go cheaper on the probe launcher and go with a T2 variant instead of the sisters version you have to swap one EANM to an Adaptive Nano Plating because of CPU issues. I think this was the fit shown in the video. Just remember that the sleeper sites can be dificult to scan unless you have very good skills, so every little bit help!

ok! .. "empty room" is triggered by failing hack of any of defense grid, between 1 or 5 tentations, .. after 30 sec 3x exterminators come up & frat around with toxic clouds, 2x of them in 1st location & sentries location = deadly for frigates, 3rd exterminator appear near tractor beam - but its malfunctioning blow it & triggers "empty room" acceleration gate, .. so in your case - you should attack by failing hacks of 3rd defense grid, .. (right now i gonna try it :o)

3rd extermenator also dangerous .. :O-HO-HO.. i didn't killed 3rd sentry(near tractor beam) & called up extermenators, but i thought before that 3rd extermenator without toxic cloud .. :OOOO.. it is with .. 5x tech II acolytes lost & 50% astero hull .. but safe .. pf-f-f-f.. shock

I don't think the tractor unit is bugged. You choose between the tractor(low power) and the hidden chests(high power) zones to loot. I dont think you can loot both places. And why you didn't activate the secret room? Just fail the hacks on that last defence grid unit 3 times and make the alarm ring. Then warp out and wait until the place blow up. Then go back and you will see the secret rift opened in the middle(where the tractor is).

Kliment Genov I've been testing this out, and it seems that your theory is correct about the tractor. Regarding the secret room, I belive it was talked about during the video; You get a choice, complete the alarm and get a pristine can, or fail the alarm and spawn the secret room. Usually this pristine can has ALOT of loot, and thusly we believe it contains all the loot from the secret room, but we have not been able to confirm this yet.

Limited Expectations Nah, you can take both the pristine chest and the secret room. Just fail on some of the other defence grid arrays(those that activate and deactivate the turrets) for 3-4 times. The first time you fail the alarm level rises to level 1, then the 2nd time to level 2 and when you reach level 3 the next time you fail the hack the red message will appear. Then you have 30 seconds to warp out. Then go back and do the secret room.

Usually I leave the defence grid at the 1st spot where you land right after you enter the complex. Then I do the tractor. In your case I don't know if you can tank with Astero there.
