Very good video, I am passionate about sleeper sites, never did one entirely, but got some decent BP copies from the cans I was able to hack. Learned a lot of interesting things in this half an hour, thanks a lot for sharing info and knowledge regarding this sites.

Just ran a Sleeper 5, got 38M, to slow warping back to site to run the bonus room, then did a Narcotics and got 250M, overall not bad, tho that is the furthest I ever got in Sleeper 5, to thanks for the tips!

Thanks for the informative guide. Can you provide a brief explanation of what you would have done differently after the far room to get to the middle portal assuming you didn't have company show up and have to trigger the gas?

All you need to make the gas show up is trigger the alarm. You can do this by shooting the sleeper enclave or continuing to fail hacks on remote defense grid cans till red text comes in local

Ok, so really appreciate the information in these videos. BUT this video I think is a bit misleading in terms of the amount of risk you're taking in warping to the back room. I wouldn't recommend trying it unless your cargo hold is empty and you have a reasonable chance of warping back to a station without getting podded if your ship gets blown up. Just hack the defense alarm and grab the pristine can and move on. The risk is in fact quite high. I tried the cloak method 3 times and died twice. The first time I stayed cloaked coming out of the warp, orbited the can at 500m, locked, hacked it quickly and managed to warp out being hit once by one gun and cutting into half my armor. That was in a Cheetah, the fastest of the main covops frigates by at least 20% with all navigation, fitting and ship skills level IV or V. The second time my cloak didn't hold and I was alpha'd into oblivion before I could get up to speed and the lock on the can wasn't even complete. The third time the cloak held, I orbited and locked, the guns missed me completely on the first shot, but I got a particularly hard hack and I was blown up before I could complete it. My hacking is generally about 70 to 80% as fast as Nth D here mainly for the reason that probably like most people if I click too fast the mini-game lags. Nth seems to have a much better connection than most. BTW my hacking skills are both level V and I was using an integrated analyzer with blackglass implant. So bottom line is if you're flying in friendly null space as is the case for Nth D here in pretty much all the videos I've watched, then sure, losing one exploration/covops ship is not a big deal because you just fly your pod back to station and get another one. But how often is that true for the average explorer in null sec? I would bet not very often since the majority are newer players. If you have anything in your cargo hold already, which is probably true 95% of the time then that back room just isn't worth the risk. You will probably net about 100 to 125 million on average when you're successful, but if you lose your ship half or even a third of the time if we're being optimistic, then you're losing way more than you're making (consider that the zeugma integrated analyzer costs about 230 million isk).

ive never died in the back room, just use an afterburner (refit with mobile depot for sleeper caches)

I haven't tried the back room yet but my thinking is the Cheetah would be your best bet for running this site with your approach since you're basically relying on speed tanking. It's 15 to 25% faster than other exploration frigates (381m/s base without skills vs 300m/s for Pacifier and 330m/s for the Helios) and on top of that it gets an additional 5% speed bonus per cov ops level while cloaked . If you fit three nanofibres in the low slots your base speed uncloaked is nearly 600m/s with max skills. One other thought. Why not just cloak for the last 60km to the final spacial rift? If you tap pulse your MWD around 90km out you should be able to cloak and make it in well under a minute (in a Cheetah), long before the 2 minute timer for site despawn, with no risk of getting hit by that sentry gun.

Nice video, I have never ran the backroom, cuz I'm lazy and always did the middle one with the tractor. Did you skipped that part of the site on purpose or was it because of the hecate chasing you? Would be nice to cover that section aswell that portion can contain a big chunk of the loot. Otherwise very nice guide, I learned something new (about the backroom) even though I'm doing this for years now with a specific Loki fit.

in case you are wondering. you can just enter the sites in any pve ship you want and just kill the sentries. passiv tanked drake is plenty.

Why you can hit many virus when hacking ? When i tried exploration the moment when i hack if there is many virus appearing i cant chain click them. Hacking level 5 is needed to be able to hack easily ? I have it to 4 actually, maybe that's the problem

I am using a blackglass implant and zeugma integrated analyzer in this video. It gives me a very high virus strength which helps a LOT. That said, it does cost in total about 250m isk for the set right now and its not exactly necessary if you just improve hacking player skill. Hope that helps!
