Trigs are truly an existential threat to new eden. I experienced that during an abyss run with a corax, I think right after clearing room 2. Idk how but I managed to reconnect and get out, and that corax earned the name "victory" before eventually going down in a Tama camp.

For this Situation i really like the Eve Support, they are very friendly and also replaced alot of ships i lost to a disconnect, especially when its a Serverdisconnect and not a Internetdisconnect

yeah this happened to me with my kronos and eos in a minor. unfortunately they cant replace lost mods so i was out some deadspace reps but otherwise it made the loss hurt a lot less lol

@@BanControl you know thats the thing that the server disconnects should not happen in the first place, CCP needs prioritize to address this technical issue. And I wish they could change their policy when it comes to the modules stolen from your wreck.

Yep, Talk to support they will likely give you the ship back. Its not part of the game to lose your ship to disconnects.

ive never once had a ship replaced. they just blame my internet and say its my fault.... I've played mmos for 30 odd years and never had the amount of disconnects that i get in eve. Also i have weird shit happen like my UI getting totally reset. funny how i can mission 4 all day and never dc.... but when i do abyss i get dc alot

Hindsight is a wonderful thing but when going into high level content with an expensive ship and you DC getting to the content... Kudos to Aceface for pushing through to give us content. Hopefully the support team will come to the rescue!

Ouch. DC's are the reason why i will never fly bling, especially blingy marauders. To lose the ship for reasons totally outside the game just feels bad. That said, that Golem was awsome went down fighting. Legend tells that on dark stormy nights lonely capsuleers can sometimes hear the cries of Trigs being murdered by a lone shiny golem!

I lost my Paladin twice 2.5B while blitzing the winter event. I was able to be reimbursed my ship once, but the most expensive fitting was stolen out of my wreck, (CCP does not replace items that were taken from your wreck) the second time I disconnected they denied my reimbursement request for being the second time I was disconnected the same way. I asked for a reason since I sent prove of stable connection and computer hardware, as well of all the times I got disconnected from nthe server and not being able to log back in the same way you did. Their best excuse was that a diconnection along the way most have occurred because they didn't see any problem with the server. CCP should take better care of these issues since now the "eve everywhere" its part of the omega (paid) to be so unreliable. How can you enjoy the game without fearing of loosing billions in 2min at any time?

I feel mildly confident you can put in a ticket and get that back. You have a literal video of the exact moment it happened and why. Obvious server connection loss. They should give you that back based on the very clear evidence you have here.

Happend to me in my L4 Runner also today. Luckily the ship was still intact when connection finally got going again. Noob question here: if something like this happens when you loose connection is the a way to "get your stuff back" from CCP? Or are they like "Nah, happens mate. deal with it".?

... personally would call it off on the first disconnect on the way there. Not worth the risk :) I think minor conduit was always this big, I remember this scenery and that was the one I did back then in at least 20+ member fleets, whereas that other site that spawned in highsec was done in like 5 people and was even soloable with alpha clone cruiser (but took ages that way) :D

Is gtfo an option even if you drop the scrammers? Because the bastion mod seems to be the main thing keeping you alive … do you think you’d survive to align and warp the moment that turned off, even if unscrammed? Suspect you’d vanish in a puff of superheated tritanium plasma … Must admit I was amazed how much punishment your Golem was shrugging off … then I saw the fit (wow) Did CCP support help you out in the end?

I can Remember losing connection flying a providence on a 50au system fortunately I reconnected just on the approach to the other gate, scared the crap out of me. At least it wasn't during combat, I feel 😒

Eve support, since you have video. On that note, I've played (and still play) numerous MMORPGs for a decades, I've never, ever seen a game that disconnects as regularly as Eve. It is Eve, not my connection, as only Eve drops like this. Why I don't do Conduits or T4 Abyss. Just too much risk for too little reward. Sorry for you loss.

He had that wave beat. Next wave? Maybe, maybe not… but by then he’d have been over the initial “OMFG-what-have-I-brought-my-ship-into” reaction and his threat analysis/target prioritisation/ cautious overheating under pressure was pretty much perfect. He could rep up at the tail end of each wave before the next triggered, and from the fit he had enough ammo (!!) I’d have been betting on him coming through that furnace intact.

This is why i dont do bling, trigs or abyss. Good old ded sites do just fine with income and cheap ass vni or ishtar do them without any effort. Deploy drones and go do something else til the site is done.

why not try an Armageddon Navy Issue, and buff it more toward tanking ? i think you could tank this situation better with that ship, but i'm an defensive player, i dislike glass canon dps (think to much WoW bring me to this point ), i can't gett enough to point how trash this game is even after 20 years, the investment in this game ...

Armageddon navy issue would last maybe 15 seconds in the initial firestorm. You haven’t ever flown a marauder, have you? Bastion mode tank is far tougher than anything you can fit on any other battleship.
