All the mining nerfs have made me so sad. I recently came back after a long break. Got on, jumped into my Rorq and did some moon mining... 4 hours in and I've made roughly 170-200m. That shit's depressing.

CCP got understandably sick of people only using Rorq's to solo mine. They are meant for fleets, so this change was the right thing to do.

It says an estimated 20.8 million ISK for the fit in your fitting screen at 1:00, which is an unrealistic estimate for a Rorq on the live server, so I'm assuming this footage is from the test server?

I wanted to get into hisec ice mining with an orca or something, and realized pretty much every mining profit maxes out at 10-12 mil per hour...

orca mines 6 mil isk per hour, pays 1 mil in fuel to run the core, you cant get 10-12 in HS

I'm getting 30m an hour in high sec... not sure if you're on the same game. Even a venture gets 5m an hour with an orca boost

i mine in high sec with an orca and 6 hulks. i get 180m/hour. all my hulks have 4-5 seconds align time. gankers come into system warp fleet to station. then all thats left is my 550k ehp orca. they need at least 15 gankers to kill my orca befreo concord arrives and they normally gank with

Yes CCP and the nerfing of the mining industry sucks. I hate the waste factor. Especially on the augmented ore mining drones! 40% sucks as does ccp

Mining and Ratting with alts still can be hilariously profitable (Espicially Smartbomb Ratting in Havens 5 Battleships net about 1 Billion ISK/H) I mine with 26 Accounts (1 Rorqual for Boost and Compression, no Excavator Drones + 24 Skiffs + a Loki as Dronebunny) and I still extract about 4.4 Million m3/h, which equals in about 3.85 Billion ISK/h, and that’s only for Spodumain. It takes me 17 hours per month to Plex my Accounts and I‘ve got hotdroped once in my life and they failed. The Proteus got almost alpha’d, took less than 20 Seconds.

Wait, is this a troll, take of the nexus? That usually give u enough time for help to arrive. Or cargo expanders? U anyway have so much space, rather fit some more tank, cap etc. And u can reduce travel time by increasing the drone speed through moduls or implants etc

Not really a fit video, just what I use. If your in an area without a response fleet the invol will just delay the inevitable. Otherwise it’s a good choice. Rorq hunting fleets will bring enough to kill you regardless so it comes down to what you value more. Your time or the cost of the ship+fit. As far as the space I just like having extra. Mileage may vary like with everything in eve.

I quit Eve after spending a over a year making a perfect Rorq miner/booster and they nerfed the shit out of it. They say Eve is a sandbox game, but it isn't.. You play the way CCP wants you to or you quit.

you sure that drones can fail to bring ice? Im pretty sure they do bring the ice but that they take double the ammount away from the ore. so the ore goes quicker

I don't think they care, its almost like they want to grind the game down into dust now.. too stubborn to walk back changes, in case it upsets the minority of die hard pvp'ers who whinged the changes into place in the first place.. apparently it was too hard for them to kill a 3bill ship in their 200 mill ship...

Daily account logins remains around 200k. Not 20k btw. 20k is the amount of accounts playing at once. 200k is the amount of accounts logging on throughout the day.

It's almost like they made a mistake by adding capitals, by hitting them so hard. The game is a shadow of it used to be, they have dumbed it down and ruined a fantastic game, it was rough when it started, the nerf's then made sense, protecting starter systems, making Concord immune, somewhere they lost the plot and its gone too far with the nerf's.
