Pretty much defines "boobytrap" which is definitely illegal. While it can't kill, it can definitely maim (getting shot in the eye with a paintball, gel ball, or airsoft pellet can lose an eye).

Intruders just destroyed in their 2nd Attempt but wise owners modified the device and equipped it with the real Gun.
