I honnestly don't know why they keep re-inventing, They should have just ported Dust into PC, and then further integrate into EVE for supplies and manufacturing. It was an amazing game, only limited by platform. This feels like a generic shooter. No logi person repairing me as we go, no tanks, no dropships :(

This, its what we want... but sadly this is just a vertical slice and we have found a good bunch of issues for them to work on... we just have to keep complaining.

Solid vid friend. I hope this game takes off. Fair warning, though, many cycle refugees like myself are very accustom to this kind of fighting. I wonder how Eve will find a way to encourage both groups to play.

I don't like the target going red when you look at them. Its a weak casual COD aim asset thing. But then again I do play a lot of Tarkov and my standards may have changed.

Can you give me a tl'dr on the game, please. As in, I have a two questions: 1. Will the game use EVE's character assets in any shape or form? 2. Will the games be connected in any way, influencing each other's universes like Dust did?

Not sure on 1. but for 2. the game is already connected. Completing objectives and extracting successfully will increase the corruption in Eve's pirate insurgencies

I think they needed to redo dust 514. We a have too many extraction shooters and on top of that battlefield fans and even cod fans aren't that happy with their games. I know I'm most likely biased but dust 514 was ahead of it's time and I think if they redid that with current tech it'd be a booming success.

Not really any more toxic than other games. People just don't understand it's an open PvP MMO and cry about getting blown up instead of actually learning to play the game.

Every game has its fair share of toxic players. But there are some good solid people as well. I've been ganked by a lot of players that have sent me pvp fits given me tips on how I could have put up a better defense from being ganked in the future. I've even had players send me isk to cover the cost of my blown up ship and some cases a little extra as well.

I can see younger players (as in personal age) having an advantage against EVE's core player base in a FPS setting 😅

It definitely feels like there needs to be something surrounding the mission... like you're building something, character growth, I don't know... but something. That said, for an alpha, the game feels pretty fantastic. If they can flesh it out, I'll stay interested.

Started playing this and quit after a couple games. The map is boring and ugly. The gameplay is meh at best. Itll probably be played by diehard eve players but I don't see this game gaining much traction the way it looks now. Nothing about this game is screaming stop playing those other shooters cause this is more fun.
