I know this isn’t the meaning of the song, obviously, but goddamn this reminds me of me and my manipulative father. Obviously not all the lines, but “what should we eat tonight? What do we wear today?” Is one of the ones that kinda messes with me. He hates when I, y’know, have opinion, so if I throw up because he basically forced me to eat something I know would make me throw up, it doesn’t matter to him, and if I wanna wear my own damn clothes that I like, it doesn’t matter to him. I don’t really have any newer clothes, they’re all older pieces that somehow still fit me, because if I go shopping, he’ll have me dressed in pink mini skirts and slvtty dresses in no time. That ending part is a whole new page. “Please just stop touching me,” is a line I shiver at, because my dad forces physical affection on me and says things like “I make decisions about your body, not you” or “I control what happens to your body, not you.” The idea that he’s trying to manipulate and then comfort, and when that doesn’t work, trap me with physical affection? It’s what he does and the song portrays that for me. The last bits are a bit swapped up. I think a lot of when my parents weren’t divorced, before he ran through five more wives, and he hates that. I love my mother, and he hates her. He thinks I’m an item, that I owe him my everything, but I think all I owe him is a court case, honestly. He wants to “get along,” but not in a normal sense, and I just wanna be alone. The song gives me chills, man- Edit: UPDATE TO EVERYONE!! TYSM FOR ALL THE SUPPORT OML AHHH It’s been a year, almost two I think, and now I can say I’m out of the house. We took him to court; a lot of running, collecting evidence (which rly wasn’t much :[ ), hiding things, and lying. We tried our best and won on a technicality. My mental health has greatly declined still, but I’m safe at my moms house :]. He barely gets to see me and he’s threatening to abandon as bait. So I’m late to the party but I found this song recently (Idk how tho). I once got so anxious and depressed that I ended up schizophrenic side affects. My main voice was named Lauretta, and she stayed fir a long time. I got rid of her, but occasionally, if I get too emotional, she likes to make a reappearance. This song makes me think of her, our toxic relationship (despite her being fake), and our history. How she was everything and nothing to me at the same time. How we were always together, and the torture she put me through. At the climax of the song, I was sobbing because I could feel it so much.

This gives me an idea for a DND character. A two headed dragon cleric. One domain for each head. They start adventuring to find a spell to separate them form each other, giving both a separate body. Over the course of the adventure, one might want to stay in one body. This leads to a huge amount of bickering and argument, until they decide to get seperate bodies and just stay together in those bodies, becoming two dragons and lairing together, because being together is all they have ever known. As for domains, I was thinking grave and fire.
