I saw a re-enactment of this story on In Suspicious Circumstances hosted by Edward Woodward with Gina McKee playing Evelyn. Such a sad tale of a young woman helping out a stranger & then being set upon. It was nice to hear a different perspective with added photos.

I can't imagine what Mrs. Foster went through. And remember especially at this time, it's a man's world. I believe Evelyn, at her deathbed confession. Interfere can mean many things and a Mother knows. They did the best investigation possible for the time. Thank you, and blessings to all.❤
