This Brigitte one trick says they felt useless this game. Was it their playstyle? The team? Or their decision to only play Brig?

I stopped playing Brig in metal ranks, unless we're facing aggressive dive and I'm guaranteed to have value just by denying their dives. Because more often than not, that Ana you double pack in the back is gonna miss all her cooldowns, peak Widow, shoot into deflect or die of old age. Nope, thanks.

Sometimes when it comes to brieg I've gotten sometimes weird and sort of clashing advice. "Stay in backline and protect the other supports, make sure your procing inspire by going to the front line" sometimes it feels like you just end up I nthe front line because hey inspire is procing 😀 but then you're not in the proper position people often say you need to be

@mr.parker8014

The whole proccing inspire advice isn't normally to physically go TO the frontline, you have a whipshot that hits from range. You use that to hit the frontline from a distance to fill in the gaps in inspire

To be a good brig you need to know how to position and play, your playstyle heavily changes depending on your team and the enemy composition.

this feels so tailor made for me that it's scary. I gotta say another thing to mention is that they seem to bash in on full HP targets. This is terrible in most cases as you put yourself in the open to get melted without a mobility tool to escape. When you proc inspire do it where you know you aren't without options to survive.

Emongg is great for this, while he may crack the occasional joke he doesn't really flame people and gives helpful advice. His chat isn't as bad as other streamers and won't attack you really, just give it a shot. You won't be able to learn and grow otherwise

I recommend posting to the r/OverwatchUniversity subreddit if you want to be reviewed by a smaller audience! Of course, it isn’t Emongg doing it but there are a lot of GM players who can give free detailed reviews on your replay. I’ve posted a few times and it’s really helpful!

If you haven't done it before, I highly recommend just watching your own gameplay in the replay viewer. I guarantee that you will notice things you didn't during the game. It's a lot easier when you're not busy playing. If you don't know where to start, just look at all your deaths. Try and think if there was anything you could do to avoid it or not. Work on from there. It's ok to say idk, and look at the next thing.

i used to play brig but didn’t know what to do as her. i feel like the best way to play a character is to watch a lot of guides about them and try to apply them as much as possible to your gameplay during the first games. after a bit the stuff said in the guides will be subconsciously ingrained in your brain and you’ll do what the guides say without realizing it.

I think they LOVE playing Brig so much and the playstyle they have are 2 completely different things, they constantly do the "cool" stuff like spamming melee so much for no reason other to remind them they are playing Brig. But the way they play screams I want to heal from a distance, I think if they played a different support that playstyle will gel more. There's no shame one tricking I'm somewhat guilty of that but if I was their tank and I looked back at the replay and saw my Bring spamming her melee in the open and letting me get charged into a wall I would lose my mind. Why play Brig when you just stand there while the tank gets jumped??

Okay, so I’m a Brig player and I am working on not being so aggressive. I have been working on protecting my other support but not every support is easy to protect as Brig. Like if a Kirko who tps a lot or a Mercy who is in the air major of the time. Any suggestions?
@NikitaOsito
@NikitaOsito 2 ай бұрын
If your other support does something stupid, and you can't save them. That isn't your fault. The big takeaway is that if someone does something stupid, don't die trying to save them. I do that too often.
@scoots5021

Either pick a DPS to protect (pretend your widow is now a tank/ect). Or look at your support line and pick a different support. Brig+ana is a classic combo, and the main reason is that ana can solo heal the team if kept alive /not bothered. Mercy is mainly there to keep a DPS alive /not heal the tank, so brig+mercy is not a high healing comp.

about @14:10 the "your Ana, your Ana" bit, their Ana was fine at that point. I keep seeing the brig spin around, and I'm assuming it's to check on their teammates since you don't get that handy status bar at the top. You're absolutely right about a lot of this, but I don't think the right play can be "focus on Ana to the exclusion of everything else"
