​@tnb4509 Pharah and Junk aren't as good as you might think on Console. I try them and the aim assist ends up being a detriment then a benefit Ashe is kind of OP, minimal turn around required and you can hit most of your shots as long as your not being pressured

A big learning curve for this game is map knowledge and knowing where all the ramps are to high ground. OW doesn't have mantling or many boxes scattered around the map you can climb on like other FPS games A lot of the ramps are also placed in blocked off areas, so it's not very obvious when a flank route will lead you to a ramp or is just a tunnel

i think it’s just lack of knowledge that high ground is better positioning opposed to new/ low ranks thinking they have to always be on cart. not lack of knowing how to get there. low rank players spend 5 seconds on high ground before they jump off.

As a Pharah player, watching them use the concussive rocket so sparingly is infuriating. Now that it's also a meaningful damage dealing tool it's superb at cleaning up low health enemies at more extreme distances, and even more importantly, it disrupts enemy aim and positioning from ridiculous angles.

One thing i notice in bronze/silver is they dont track by turning or aiming. they try and track with movement. if the someone went left out of their line of fire they wouldnt turn to track them they would move the same direction to keep them centered on screen

As soon as he swapped to reaper, I sat up. I main reaper (I know, easy to use, etc. I swap to reaper if it’s a “time to win” moment. Otherwise I play what we need) but I feel like I’m pretty good at reaper (not the best, but played him enough to know how to properly play him). Flats is spot on though, you gotta shove those shotguns into there butt and go to town, and use the ghost form to escape OR to reload “quick”. If your teleporting it’s best to go somewhere not in line of sight, not on the bridge that everyone can see

20:56 pressing concussive right there could've solved like 3 different problems, two of which couldve died sooner and one of which wouldve been that whole getting shot problem cause then he wouldve been in a better position to jump away with the dash. Remember that concussive is like 30 damage in a big area and 30 for a direct, but even landing it close on those two wouldve killed the rein at least. I feel like low level Reaper players (and I say this with love because I used to be this way) play the character because their aim sucks, but it's a shotgun, so if you use it at midrange you always hit something, and as long as you hear the damage tick it's better than a miss.... The more I see high-ranked players spectate low-ranked players the more I realize how little they are aware of how it actually is to play in low ranks, and this goes for every single game I know of. Obviously no hate towards Flats but, for instance, he questioned why they're playing "low-ground pharah" and the answer to this is a very simple "low-ranked players rarely know that high-ground even is better to begin with" and can be expanded with "they have no idea what the benefits even are and how to use them". The difference between low-rank and high-rank play is quite fascinating to the point where very instinctual things to high-ranked players become complete rocket science to low-ranked ones. I'd argue that even the idea of focus-targetting a specific player or playing as an actual team is completely unknown in silver and below and most people are just "oh enemy go pew pew! must kill!". Obviously there's flaws with the game, and everyone doesn't know everything, and they're playing in silver for a reason. So I mean no hate towards anyone, but I just find it really funny how the expectations here are just out of this world compared to how it actually is to play in lower ranks.

ok so i have managed to place gold (somehow) and ive never really played the game before. Looking at this though i am noticing that mechanical skill seems to be a pretty big issue for lower ranks. Like this player was doing things i have never seen, heard of and therefore never knew existed (i.e the bastion jump to high ground, i didnt even know you could jump with bastion like that) but i am able to still consistently win my games and have positive impacts on my teams performance. If you know the game really well and your hardstuck maybe see if your games look like this and focus less on the game sense side of things and learn the basics of shooting mechanics.

in defence of the tanks, tanking these days is kinda pain, you have one bad healer/dps its pain, if you have a bad dps AND healer its hell, thats not even taking into consideration if the enemy team have a good tank/dps shutting down your only good team mates while your badones do F all and complain in chat/voice refusing to swap off dps flanking moira tryign to camp the enemy spawn. the best part about 6v6 with two of each roll was if one tnak was bad the other could cover for it or you could work together and take each others slack or make up for bad dps/healers, but now with one tank you have to cover for so much, its also the reverse one bad tnak is just game over no mater how good a dps/healer you are. 6v6 had issues but at least it was more balanced and didnt have blizzard in a state of constantly trying to fix each tank one by one to work in the new 5v5 leaving some super busted and others being clsoe to afk throwing a game
