@@oddity6248 I'll give you a few better reasons why he's cool: 1) He went on the mission knowing full well, he'd never actually walk on the Moon but be the third guy in the command module, making sure everything runs fine while the other two enjoy their moonwalk. 2) He was at that point the lonliest person in existence. He was the furthest away from any other human being in our Solar system. 3) He was actually a very friendly and humble guy.

I think this is what lost from current studio c. Big personality, good writing, good banter. Current cast member of studio C is not bad, it's just....bland. Too many cast member, the writing is too forcefull etc etc Matt & co on the other hand feels like really one unit, it feels seamless

This sketch reminds me of the episode of The Book Pile where Dave and Kellen were talking about... The first guy to go into space? And Dave's like, "there was no windows so he doesn't KNOW he was in space! They could have just been standing outside rocking it." I can't remember the actual quote but it fits very neatly with this sketch 😆😁

We didn’t go back because it’s, as Matt said, boring. There’s nothing of use to study. We just did it to say we did. (We should be going back literally this year with the Falcon 9 for the same reason.) The original unprocessed tapes weren’t lost, they were erased and recycled. That wasn’t an uncommon thing.
