Definitely deserved more laughs, to the point it made me think maybe audience turnout was a bust but they filmed it anyway. Edit: Hypothesis #2: They used a direction-dependent mic for the audience that only caught a fraction of the audience. #3: Audiences suck and Studio C taped over multiple showings and combined laughter incidences?

Matt was kinda flat in this one, Mal similarly kind of mono-intensity... I think it would have played better if they had more time to pause, etc - with Studio C they could have made this into a fuller form and then had room to vary/slow down their responses. On this stage they were basically limited to dialogue … still made me laugh and smile because it is funny. Stephen did great … Maybe they edited out some pauses to make the clip faster/shorter? … I wonder if they would consider writing for Studio C, if they could also get artistic control of directing etc to make sure those actors play it right and are cast to the part … (From what I’ve seen, JK Studios are also better comedy actors than most of the new C cast.)

We did this onstage for the Glow-Up tour a few years back, and the lights didn’t go out in time at the end of the sketch, so Matt walked over and hit the button for the missile. It was super dark but very very very funny to me 🤣

Mallory's whole performance in this is severely underrates and that audience needs slapping awake a bit I think. (Not hard slaps. Just... Helpful waking up ones.) This was hilarious.

The rock was a great touch. On the second viewing I get the impression Whitney wrote this sketch; some of the lines I could picture her saying. Let’s see if they put in the video description … Edit: Meese! I wonder if he was musing “Mal would rather die than marry me. Hmmmm….” (That line “… a thing that could be” does sound like him.)

Dear guys, the old cast of Studio C! Please, come back filming those awsome sketches that you used to make like 3-4 years ago. It was the most funny, smart and hilarious production and acting not only on KZbin, but to me on the whole media. Seriously. Okay, new guys bought your label and started filming a bunch of dumbass idiotic videos that cause tears and regrets.
