Can easily say that Miku is one my favorite KZbinrs ever. She's so, so good at teaching, she answers the questions that so many other people/books fail to touch upon, and her personality is such a breath of fresh air :) Keep doing what you do!!!

Miku sensei, I don't get tired of thanking you again and again. Each and every lesson of yours is so interesting and boosting my confidence day by day in understanding spoken Japanese which is quite different from text book Japanese which is more formal. It would not be out of place to mention here that I had been searching KZbin for a good Japanese teaching video series and I came across yours accidentally and since then I am stuck with them. Simple reason is your method of explanation, use of grammar, vocabulary and everyday expressions, are all helping me to improve my Japanese language learning. I've been learning Japanese language for some years and passed two levels of JLPT exams as well but I couldn't improve my proficiency as much as I have learnt from your videos. Thank you so very much !

I wish I had known you earlier, Sensei. I've been trying to get a grasp of Japanese for almost two years now and I just don't feel I'm in a place where I can initiate a normal conversation yet. This video is a wonderful one (although I'm going to need to watch it several times before the vocab and the grammar sink in) thank you for putting the effort to make such fun and enlightening videos.
素晴らしいレッスンです。All really well explained in classic Miku fashion. Miku, the grammar queen! 😂

Hello, Miku! I'm confused where you used つかない - to press (18:27). Isn't 'to turn on' つける・つけない?Is this something to do with transitive/intransitive? I hope you see this.
@belgianbolshevik9232Ай бұрын
Yes it has to do with intransitive and transitive verbs. Whereas つける requires you to mention both the thing doing the verb and the thing which the verb is acting upon, つく (plain form of つかない) makes the subject of the sentence also the object at the same time (it won't turn itself on). When learning a new verb, I recommend looking for its transitive/intransitive equivalent and studying them together, although verbs like つく do have a ton of meanings.

Man, I was just about to ask this question in my tutor lesson this Friday so good timing! I've been wondering about how to ask about how Japanese people ask about hypothetical situations for a while now. Does this work for normal if statements as well? Like "If you run you will get there faster." or "If you tell me I will be thankful!" or "What would happen if I asked three questions?"
