Seems like they have lost their grooves and eagerness to play. This isn't inevitable because they keep on switching kairi and albert. They need to let go of the other. Stick to one is the key. Another thing is that I've noticed that Kairi doesn't build windtalker when he is using roger. That's why they keep on loosing in the latter stage of the game. They will drop a bomb early game but fall off in the late game. Whenever he dies his team falls really hard and I guess he needs to change his build pattern. Even K1NGKONG, Kyletzy uses windtalker, coz it does really change a lot because of its attributes. Seems like they new the meta but the build pattern is off

Having 2 players in one role is great for competition actually. Both obviously will want to be in the main lineup so they will try their hardest to be the better player. Onic's mid, roam, and gold (Albert's main role is jg) doesn't have any competition for so long already that they're losing their edge.

Other teams has grown a lot since previous MPL season, drafting is an issue with onic, coach yeb need to do more homework, exp onic player is another issue with the downfall of the team, as the caster mirko mentioned ONIC does not have mental coach so players are underperforming this season. When pro players are not performing well there has to be some serious issues which needs to be addressed by the ONIC management. ONICID we want to see you performing again😢

Sanz isn't that Gilang Star anymore since this is assasin meta, he got targeted and can't do anything about it. Cw literally got solo-kill by aeron lmao. Even in this match, Mathilda shield ain't gonna save them. This is pretty much a clear indication that the other teams finally catch up, they ain't letting onic win with a bad draft anymore unlike previous seasons where onic still outplayed them even if they have bad drafts. their synergy is also worsening due to the frequent changes in roster. first, fix their drafts, second, fix their chemistry, last, fix the individual mistakes (even kairi got worse now, he's still aggressive yes but he got in a bad position now (ex : when he tried to engage btr after his buff got got taken, that's just a bad decision leading to every other members following him including rezz. In the end, rezz got killed and onic just threw away their utility instead of saving it to defend).
