Something that occurred to me last night: the top 3 spots in the final were occupied by Founding Seven nations (countries that participated in the inaugural event in 1956). I believe that hasn't happened since 1986 when Belgium, Switzerland and Luxembourg made up the podium in Bergen

Yeah... due to this mammoth of a Semifinal in 2007 Czechia's worst result is technically in 2007 (28th [last] in semifinal with 1 point) and not in 2009 (18th [last] with 0 points) :P No wonders why EBU decided to split this semi into two starting in 2008 xD
