The way case manufacturers for cell phones get dimensions so they can make their products and when those leaks start coming out that usually happens by design not just for the launch but the release of the cell phone. So, I wouldn't be surprised if this thing gets announced but then the release date is very shortly after the announcement. They want all the bugs worked out during this release and feedback and what not run some firmware updates get it in the hands of the gamers and then by the time the holidays come around next year they'll have a sale and they can really push out more units and the thing will explode as long as it does good. That's an assumption of course but let's see what happens

I don't really like the new design of the Nintendo switch 2. I still think the og neon red and blue were amazing and these gray joycons with a hint of colours doesn't appeal to me. It seems they are going for some sort of steam deck kind of system.

A clear grip attachment shows the new joycons are flat and don't bump out for better ergonomics. Just like the first switch's flat-backed joycons.

Control is flat on the back like currently. The button more than likely retracts the magnets. C button is the capture/ screen record and possibly streaming button. This is the actual Nintendo switch 2

I dont think the close in image for the joy con and the orange grip isnt actually an colored grip accessory,it could actually just be the new switch turned on and the joycon is actually connected to the console in the picture and not on an actual accessory for the console.The picture might have just been taken when the innitial first boot up screen starts when you turn your new console on like on the first switch with the trumpet humming sound.And thats what i think the orange color is,it might not even be orange and its an dimmed lit startup screen from the room the console was booted up in.Hence why it looks orange instead of the classical red were all used to at this point,or its an actuall accessory and we just dont know what it is in full yet...

What do you mean slightly upgraded graphics? The current switch literally can barely run large games over 30 fps at 720p. Also processing power is so low that load times currently have me taking naps while the game is loading up. This switch 2 would be a complete upgrade across all aspects.

@@nashhanson6387 That’s just slightly upgraded graphics, being able to run games at 60fps at 1080p or higher doesn’t really enhance anything. If I want those enhancements, I’ll just play my PS5. I have the OLED switch, which is great, but if they don’t bring much else to the table then what’s the point? We will have to see when the console is announced what other features this new console will have.

I would love to see these things from Nintendo Switch 2: 1080p 4K HD or OLED screen, a white console with colorful buttons or a black and orange colored console I would be fine for both, home menu & eshop have music and home menu will have themes like 3DS have and the biggest thing that I hope to see from Switch 2, but would be too good to be true: live streaming games without using a capture card, but because Nintendo consoles have always needed to have capture cards I believe Switch 2 will have it too! I would love the 1080p OLED screen as well but it would be an extremely tough resolution for handheld mode. It's more than double the pixel count of 720p. Approx 900K vs 2 million pixels. The TDP would be too great for a console with the Switch 2 profile. The RoG Ally is 1080p and requires significant thickness to accommodate the heatsinks required to maintain adequate temps. Furthermore this would lead to very poor battery life by Nintendo's standards; under 2 hours if RoG Ally is anything to go by. I still have doubts the dock mode will upscale to 4K, I'm expecting 1440p due to heat. Even with the fan in the dock there's very little space to push air in a current Switch. Nintendo has some wizards of engineering so perhaps they've really worked some magic but I remain sceptical as we're still running on rumors.
