I'm not playing those overrated games again. BOTW was empty and TOTK was such a damn chore. Tedious shit to do with no real reward in the end. The Korok Seeds were absurd. You collect 900 seeds in BOTW just to get a golden piece of poop!? Then Nintendo has the damn nerve to do it again in TOTK adding 100 more totaling of 1,000 seeds to collect only to get once again a golden turd. At least they should of have made a glider out of it but that's what I'm talking about with no real reward. Don't get me started with the damn Lightroot bullshit. You just get a token or something after going thru that whole dark area. The medal just sits in your inventory. Couldn't give us like a new outfit or a non-breakable weapon. Those two games were a slap in the face to all hardcore Zelda fans. Those games were ambitious yes but they fell short too many times. Bring back the classic formula to a Zelda game.

Considering how often she needs to be rescued or freed from some kind of spell, A game with Zelda as the protagonist would be BOORING AF. Seriously. Spin-off the Zelda franchise with a game revolving around the Zoras. Sidon and Mipha are both awesome and deserve their own adventures.

I'd jump in immediately on 60fps Tears of the Kingdom. BotW, though? eh... it would be hard to want to go back.

I dont think there will be a Zelda game with Zelda as a protagonist because Nintendo is dead set on having a voice-less "Link" to the world for the player to engage with it through. They at least would never make a mainline zelda game with zelda as a protagonist.

@SunbroNation if Nintendo is going to remaster both The Legend Of Zelda Breath Of The Wild & Tears Of The Kingdom why not also remaster Hyrule Warriors Age Of Calamity too which I know had a lot of frame rate issues so a remastered port would fix it.

I’m so down for a Zelda as the main character game. We always get Links perspective, time to get Zelda’s. Would make for a very interesting storyline! As always, hoping for TP / WW. I think June is when it will happen. They need something to hold us over until Switch 2!!!

I don’t think we’re going to get a 4K version of these games. I don’t think Nintendo system will be doing 4K so people need to temper their expectations but I do believe we will get enhanced sports of breath of the wild for the new generation of switch and I can definitely see Nintendo, do the Sony in they charge $10 for the upgrade if you already have the physical version of breath of the wild for the current switch?.

I think everyone is way over hyping the Switch follow up. Yes, it’s going to be a massive step up from the first Switch, but it’s definitely not going to be anything like what people are saying. I highly doubt that it is going to be 4K or have 256 GB internal storage like people are saying.

Ain’t no way I’m spending $60 just for 4K BOTW. If anything, I’d spend $10 to get the upgrade and if they included a little extra DLC with that, but that’s it. The base game looks great already on the Switch as it is. I really hope they don’t do any of that and give us an HD version of A Link Between Worlds. So many people, myself included, have never had the chance to play that but absolutely adore LTTP. The Oracle games would be great too. Aaand, give us a Switch 2 version of the old Metroid games while we at it. All of the Metroid games, actually!

Nintendo is the KING of rehash! They will absolutely re-released Breath of the Wild with very little enhancement to it.

If they release a enhanced port of Zelda BOTW, one feature I would like is higher frames like 60 fps. I tried playing it in its current state and the frame rate just made me nauseated and gave me headaches. I would really like to play this as well as ToTK 🤞🏻.

I think they're gonna have backwards compatibility and will release some kind of deluxe pack with two graphically upgraded games on the same cartridge but it would be like for "collector's edition" or just will cost 100$

I’ll buy it no matter what but man if they’d just add sky islands, master mode and enhanced armor trims to TOTK I’d be in heaven. Imagine if they also added the master cycle and the blue one from Mario kart but we can build it and even use its parts like the rest of the build devices. Would be so fun to use those motorcycle parts in our own builds and have the cycle since it functions so much better than cycles we make in TOTK

I would try upgraded BOTW for $10 upgrade. But never pay full price for a game i already own. That goes for Twilight Princess too.

Actually yes Zelda is the main character in the next Zelda game where she has to save Link from a terrifying evil.

Even if an improven version of BotW came to the Switch 2, I wouldn´t play it. I´ve played BotW twice and and I recently got the Master Sword and killed the fake Zelda in TotK and after that I just lost interest in BotW and TotK and I´m ready to move on to another Hyrule or lands beyond Hyrule

Oracle of Ages and Seasons with the Link's Awakening treatment would be nice.

Tears of the kingdom needs a deluxe addition with additional content with more enemies and biomes in the depths and sky, more legendary weapons to find, a hyrule restoration mission etc., Breath of the they could just add the minish cause they were originally supposed to be in it

Frankly I'd be pissed off if they wasted release slots on switch games instead bringing games that aren't already on the platform.

I hope its some kind of upgrade, selling us botw again for 60-70 would feel gross. Though I wouldn't mind paying full price for a physical copy if it had the whole trilogy plus dlc (Age of Calamity, BotW and TotK) all on one cart but I'm not going to hold my breath for that. I would then gift my OG copies to my niece and nephew.
