An alternative title for this is the Iconic Sounds of the Minigames and English Dubs of Yakuza which I did completely by accident and only realised about halfway through making it lol. Also, the thumbnail was a real image of two of the most revolutionary artists of all time. Very iconic moment in music history.

You can deal a lot of damage really easily in Lost Judgment, but also he doesn't have an intro or any mid-fight cutscenes to extend the fight, nor does he have much health. No damage people will tell you that I'm wrong but that's because they played on Legend and lowered their attack with items by 480% to make the fight last for like 5 seconds longer lol

Japanese learner here, time-consuming explanation ahead. The reason why Kiryu says "N-I-S-I-K-I" is because it seems that Japanese people don't always transliterate to English correctly. In Japanese Romaji (literally "Roman characters"), each Japanese letter is a syllable, with "Nishiki" having three: に (NI), し (SHI), and き (KI). However, し is just considered one of the five letters that start with an S sound. And if you type SI into the Japanese Romaji keyboard, it makes a し. It's just that the Japanese devs didn't know better. I mean, it's not like you need to know how to perfectly transliterate stuff to English in Japan. You can see a similar mistake when you go to Osaka and see the big sign saying, "SYOFUKU-CHO". SYO is しょ in Japanese, and should properly be Romanized as SHO. If I recall correctly, the English subs spell it correctly, probably because native English speakers worked on it. These things are difficult to explain. The hardest part of learning Japanese is the basics and fundamentals. After you get past that, all you gotta do is memorize the 2,000+ _funky Chinese letters_ and their _weird readings_ and you're good. (Any other Japanese learners or speakers, please correct me if I'm wrong)

@@cloacky4409 It's both easier and harder than it sounds. There's a learning curve, and it doesn't take too long to fully understand the concept of Chinese characters in Japanese. But there's a shit load of them and so many different compounds. At least the grammar is easy.
