the most interesting thing to me about it is applying it to lil words and phrases such as "argal" from hamlet or "how if 'a will not stand?" from much ado, bc those things are hella confusing to my american castmates now, but if you think about op, "a" probably *did* sound like "he" spoken quickly or something :0
