It'd be nice if they brought him and Hokuto into SF6 with their SF EX moveset. Dive kick, pop knee, his own raging demon and especially that varied tatsu where you do it 3x times for all 3 kicks.

Have you checked out the character "King" from the Chinese game "Xuan Dou Zhi Wang"? It has the fireball, the red fireball, the Dragon Punch, the Hurricane Kick, even Ryu's aerial 2-hit LP seen in Alpha, and a forward+punch that does Ryu's forward+MP and forward+HP together. Despite this, King is not Japanese, don't have a headband and he is rather the 3rd protagonist of the series.

Kairi's got the most similar moves. But I think that Syoh guy can cancel his uppercuts into more uppercuts, which is crazy. If you do more than the SF2 guys, I think there's a lot of characters that aped Sub-Zero and Scorpion, or just ninjas in general. But those two were the most iconic.

Ah yes power athletes or power move my first fighting game alongside street smart on the genesis, I just love the levelling up system in power athletes or power move it really affects the gameplay of Joe. Health become longer, movement and attack become faster and hit harder, jumps become higher and faster, and special move actually become easier to do and spam. You can actually feel the difference when Joe first started and after the leveling up. also nick is the true last boss in power move he is way harder than ranker.

I know that the Ryu characters are done but I just thought of ones who weren't included. I wouldn't call them contenders because the look was different but they had the moves certainly. I am talking about Nick and Dan from Body blows for the commodore amiga. Yes I know the game perhaps wasn't the best but I loved it.

I'll have to go with Kairi because: 1. Dude was cloning Ryu in the SAME GAME as Ryu. 2. Next time he was THE Ryu of the game. 3. He is such Ryu clone that Ryu got a Kairi skin in Street Fighter V. 🤣🤣🤣
