I appreciate you focusing on helpful videos. I’m a viewer that avoided your videos for so long due to the “spoof” videos you used to post. I get that they were intended for comedic entertainment but when looking for help was just frustrating. By chance I landed on a more recent video and found that you changed your approach. Keep up the great work.

The day I watched your first video just becoz KZbin recommend me, after that I have watched almost 90% of your playlist of tech discussions and have been watching thiojoe's videos playlist recently. It's been great learning journey for me and I am enjoying every bit of it.

I once had to setup a linked library for a game called FABLE. The newest steam anniversary edition could be modded using the original game files but it wouldn't work using it's own original files so i made windows load from another modded directory. If i remeber correctly i done it through powershell and it worked flawlessly. the only downside is that due to incorrect path setup on game files sometimes an object that was in the orginal game wont load in the latest version. So you'd be walking through Greatwood and not know there was a tree infront of you because it's invisible however the physical properties of the object would still exist.

Hey Thio, i love your videos. Good job. Also, the next major release of Windows 11 version 22H2 has hit the final testing phase. It has been released in the Windows Release Preview Channel in the Insider Program, as I heard (not sure if it is true). But if it is, can you make a review about that version? Im rlly curious of what it is new, what is changed etc.

Every time I click on the download folder, files and windows show up on screen, but within a few seconds, a scanning process starts, and every file is relisted based on Date in descending order. That is what I want. However, many times the scanning process takes time. What do I do to make the listing that I want appears permanent at the time of opening (and get rid of the scanning process)?

I actually checked out SayMine, but while there are still over 60 companies that have "my data", none of them are actually unexpected. Though, that's with a very "focused" e-mail. - I'll also check my very old Hotmail/Outlook-account, which will probably be a bit crazier... - And for that one it said "it's taking too long" first, but then it told me it's done with searching and it still only showed 9 companies, which is impossible. - Maybe it can't handle how many associations that account might have. XD

Question related to your Guide to Fixing Windows Corruption video: How can I run the ISO in Safe Mode? Windows will only boot into Safe Mode, but it won't let me get far into the ISO before telling me that it can't be run in Safe Mode. In your video you say the ISO needs to be run inside Windows or else it will force the deletion of apps, etc.. Is there another way I can run the ISO without it deleting all my apps? I've followed all the other steps, but Windows still refuses to boot normally. I found your channel when searching for a solution to this, and I see that you have many very interesting videos! Hey Thio. Random thing I discovered: if you name a folder the same name as an HTML file, with "_files" appended, file explorer will always copy, cut, delete, and move them together. Just some odd fact. Hopefully someone finds something that you can do with this (other than for web design)

literally my first steps after a windows install, update the drivers, update windows, optimize via winaero, from 160 processes idle to 80 and i get to undo all the pointless bs they did for win 11 like multiple context menus etc. I have 64gb ram so i also go ahead allocate more memory for the service host containers so that there arent as many seperate svchost tasks in my task manager, they all group up based on the services they are used for, instead of 30 svchost tasks, u have like 5 with a drop down arrow that shows each individual service hosted in that group. most people wont ever need to find specific svchost services but if you ever do, do this first, because you would have to open the services interface, figure out what the id number associated with the svchost task is, then find it manually, instead of having them listed by name and organized into corresponding groups based on what it does :D
