I have recently, 6-8 months ago, discovered British comedy such as this on youtube. What surprised me is how many of your comedians are this razor sharp and quick with a killer comeback. I could now put at least a dozen people in this category. Mack, David, Victoria, Carr, Sean Locke, etc. Well Done Brits, thx for the laughs😂😂😂😅

Lee destroys or breaks things! The answer should always be "no!" He was even rough with the wand and the end came off and fell. When he broke the pen AFTER saying he would not, that was not funny at all and the look on David's face and what he said was sad....! An uncomfortable silence followed. Lee's quick repartee is what he is great at. Amazing humour!

Can hardly say he comes across “posh” when some aren’t true!

He still "comes across" posh as what you "come across" as is determined by the person listening, not the truth of the situation. You could call me a pedant here, but you're effectively being one too.

These examples weren't even particularly posh! I thought they'd have included stories like the one where he had a little bell that he'd ring to summon squash at his grandparents' house.

@@hannahk1306Yes, but that example was already in a David Mitchell comes across as posh compilation video. That's why this title says there are even more instances when he comes across as posh.

Why are the British so bloody snobbish? Calling someone Middle class has become an insult. And what is it based on? Money? Lee Mack probably had as much money as David Mitchell has, and yet ... Is it a question of education? What's wrong with being well educated? Well, at least here, on WILTY, it's all presented as humour, but unfortunately in real life things are not so chummy.

I know the lady with the "great" jigsaw theories is a big star in the UK but she's absolutely unbearable to me. I'd do anything to get out of a room she was in.
