I will say regarding the stay at home mom topic, I am a stay at home mom. but not by choice. and I’m miserable. I would absolutely love some time and space away from my home and my children making my own way and having something tangible that’s just MINE. It’s not so luxurious how working women think.

Yes ! I’ve been working since I was 14 I am 31 . In 2021 I had to stop working to stay home to take care of my twins with autism . My husband works I am a stay at home mom and I’m exhausted everyday I just miss being around adults . People don’t understand the struggle behind it they just think you’re home you’re lucky !

This conversation was so healing for me. Currently 20 weeks pregnant with my first child, a girl and I've been in a very tense internal place with my mom and our relationship. It's something I've been worried about because I don't want it to cross over into the dynamic between my daughter and me. Even when trying to leave room for grace comfort my own mom, I still feel the anger and sadness rise.. but this conversation gave a great new lense for me to look through as I navigate these feelings.

I'm great full for this podcast. When Queen talked about the mate being non attentive to the relationship. I was married 20 yrs and ended up mentally stressed , grinding my hustle all be bought to the table was ( he got a job) I got sick literally working 3 jobs and 2 side hustles . I wouldn't never ended up I this situation if my childhood trauma didn't get fixed. Big family but we was taught physically everyone is out for themselves. I healed myself of lupus but emotionally I lost myself. I realized I can't do it all on my own including healing emotional wounds. Family foundation is so important but when you don't have it you tend to have distrust with outsiders .
