The Philippines did really well this year. This is what Celeste should've done last year. Nevertheless, being from India, I still favour India, the Philippines, Lebanon & Thailand to make the Top 20. I was disappointed with Nepal, Vietnam, Indonesia and Cambodia. Their performances literally went downhill. But you know that 19 contestants will be selected by the preliminary judging panel. The 20th contestant will be chosen via a fan vote. I hope it's a repeat of Miss Universe 2013, where the Philippines won the last spot. I'd be shocked if the Philippines doesn't get through this year.

Michelle’s gown color is to honor her mother who was crowned the 1979 Miss Internatioal, wore an emerald green for her final gown. Her mother won in the Supermodel of the World and Face of the 80s. Michelle’s family is affluent that’s why her bearing of elegance and class is innate. I love the uniqueness of her gown that stood out amongst the candidates but Miss USA’s is sure FIRE,too! These are the only 2 evening gowns that awed me.

My top 5 post prelims both SS and EG are: Nicaragua, Philippines, colombia, India and Venezuela.. take note, this might change once Closed Door Interviews are included. Performance alone, I can see that some girls were holding back like Thailand, Puerto Rico, Mexico and South Africa. Why my top 5 stood out because looking at their performance, you can see that they’ve studied the stage, the Camera angle, their practice run, and you can tell they were there to PERFORM! you can see their fire and eagerness to win! MUO mentioned it before, u have to follow the practice runs and which camera to look at because the judges take that into consideration that’s why they have small LED screens in front of their table to see whose performance registered well in the camera. People never realized this is important in Prelims and Finals performance. Also, remember that Closed Door Interview plays a huge factor for someone to get into top 20. If my top 5 did well in the interviews, for sure they will enter top 20 and possibly reach higher til top 10 or top 5 in the Finals.. im a Filipino but clearly, Latinas are dominating this year’s edition. I just hope all of them do well in the CDIs so they can make the top 20 cut.

Philippines gown was super amazing and brilliantly done, love the symmetry and the new concepts than not very common particularly the choice of color tone materials . I'll be not surprise Philippines and India be on Top 3 🇵🇭👍💯

France was unique I think the dress suited her perfectly, I can understand that this is suprising and not unanimous, but Diane is naturally charismatic and she likes to be different, it's part of her personality. I found that lots of dresses were similar, gold, silver... Many of the candidates looked magnificient tonight!
