Evening rain soundscape at Wetland Ramsar Site, Sabah Malaysia

At the time, I was setting up the microphones in a mangrove forest, the sky darkened and a distant storm approached. I was configuring two sets of microphones, LOM mikroUsi AB stereo and Sony PCM D100, which you are currently listening to. The other arrangement is the Sennheiser MKH8040 ORTF, I will share the recordings soon.
The rain began to fall after a few minutes of thunderstorms. It continues for more than two hours.

Звуковая атмосфера просто прекрасная! Но ужасно грубо настроен компрессор! Невозможно нормально слушать в наушниках. И нойс-гейт (или шумоподавление) лучше бы выключить совсем - весь "воздух" в звуке съедает.

I don't do much on the post processing, and never do the noise reduction in any of my field recordings!

@@listeningtoNATURE Значит это кто-то (или что-то) делает за Вас..... это очень сильно слышно. Даже не чуть-чуть.... Особенно на раскатах грома. Возможно эти функции включены в рекордере, а Вы просто не заметили
