EVENING ROUTINE- AFTER THE KIDS ARE IN BED

Hello and welcome back to my videos. Today's video is my evening routine once the children are in bed. Obviously it depends on what we have on, but this is my typical evening routine- it usually involves tidying, eating and working. ;)
I was supposed to be doing this video with my lovely friend Charlotte as a collab but her little boy wasn't very well, so she hasn't filmed her video. You should still go and check out her channel though cause she is one of my best friends and I love her-

I love going in to check on the kids once they are asleep too, I always linger in their room but my husband tells me not too in case I wake them 🙈 lovely routine video xx

The match holder with the striker on the bottom is very neat! I love that. I also like how you go around and change the environment of the house at night as well. I think I'll incorporate that into my night time routine.

Loved this vid from you. Just a tip, don’t do mouthwash straight after brushing as your washing off your protective fluoride from your toothpaste. If you really like mouthwash just use it during the day at a different time to brushing to keep those pearly whites nice and strong. You guys are such a cute couple too!

*Hello Katie! Very nice video!I don't know if it is a difference of culture between England and France but here, we eat in family every day and put children's to bed at 8.30. So as parents, we don't have so many time together in the evening. But you are right, it's important to share time just with your husband, we are not just parents ;-)And congrats for the skincare routine, it's very important to take care of your skin. That’s so interesting! No definitely I would say most younger children will be in bed around 7 on a school night in the UK. What time do you/your partner get back from work? I think we are one of the lucky ones in the UK as we both work from home so we try and eat with the kids 4 or 5 times a week but a lot of families I know the dad doesn’t get home till past bedtime so they only eat together as a family at weekends. It’s interesting to know in France you all eat together every day. So interesting to hear about the differences :) x

*The differents culture are so interesting and KZbin is a good way to learn about it ;-) I am a stay at home mum and my husband get back at 5 p.m. But most french finish work at 6 or 7 p.m.*

That is not a general rule in France. I am German and I live in France since 8 years. My partner is French and we have a 2 year old daughter. I come home from work at around 6pm and my partner at 7.30 pm. He usually brings her to sleep at 7.45 pm and then we have about the same evening routine as you do. We almost never eat together with our daughter because it would just be way too late. Colleagues of mine have similar evening routines as us, so you just cannot generalize..........love your videos by the way:-)
