Hi Guys I thought it was about time for an updated evening routine. This is an average evening with 3 kids and luckily on this night my husband was around to help me :-) when it is just me it is a real juggling act!

Q: Where is your accent from?
A: I was born and raised to Toronto, Ontario, Canada but moved to Essex in England when I was 14 years old. Hence my mixed up accent.
Q: Do you work? What do you work as?
A: I work in Marketing and PR but I am currently on maternity leave. I am focusing on my vlog while I am on maternity leave and I love it!
Q: Who’s in your family?
A: I have been married to Matt for 7 years, he is the love of my life! We have three sons - Fraser is 5, Caleb is 2 and baby Jackson who was born in September!
Q: What camera do you use to film?
A: I film my videos with the Canon G7X and Olympus Pen EPL7.
Q: What lighting do you use?
A: I use natural lighting 90% of the time and a softbox light during the winter / dark evenings.

Emily Norris When your baby is crying how do you know what's wrong

For us at first it was always trial and error. We would just go through our imaginary list: nappy? fed? tired? and one of those is mostly it. You learn what is up with the baby over time, you understand what they want and many babies do get a bit of a routine. Like I know that about noon she wants to be fed and sleep and when she wakes up I change her, then she wants some entertainment (she's 4 months now) etc. Trust your instincts, you will get better over time!

Daddy trying to feed Caleb #reallife :D I know that feeling way too well hahhaaa Oh my gosh don't even get me started with laundry with three boys. My husband also works out every day which means more laundry and I'm trying to do that too so we're drowning in laundry! It's lovely that Matt helps you out, even little things are a huge help in times like this. My husband only adds to the mess, I can't decide who's worse him or the boys! lol Jackson is absolutely adorable! I wish you all a lovely week! :)

Oh kids never fuzz with food.... But other things are a complete mess with me... It's so great to see parents can look perfect and still have some troubles. It's hell putting mine to bed. And if one hears me putting in the baby... They crawl out of bed as silent as a breeze and peep there heads into my room and ask for a hug and kiss and a snuggle... And I'm NOT strong enough to refuse them. It's just as simple ... im not perfect... nobody is. Love your channel and have subscribed :)

Same here! Rare if we eat before kiddos bedtime, hubby tends to work late, plus I love a quiet dinner:) don't you feel so amazed at how well you can manage the daily tasks and looking after the kids with all their activities and whatnot, even with 3? It's definitely busier, but somehow you cope.

Hi Emily I love your family you're so in control over everything I wonder how you do it. It's so silly to me seeing comments about what others would do, or what they feel you should be doing in regards to kiddos meals and snacks. I'm due with baby #3 in July and love seeing children loved, happy, and taken care of..above all else. IMO children learn the very most by example. And seeing how productive you are, I have no doubt these boys will end up wonderful. They are definitely loved and do not seem to be terrors. all children, and adults have their preferences ...only children can't make their own food. I don't see anything wrong with having food options for children, I feel it helps them become more secure with foods...and offering the foods they typically wouldn't eat, but not forcing them to eat it... will allow them to try knew things as they feel ready. Sorry this is a long comment. I love seeing your videos. You definitely are an inspiration to me. Motivation to do some cleaning for sure.

Isn't sleeping with blankets and on the stomach a no-no for newborns? Genuine question- I have no kids, but I'm pretty sure I've read that those things can contribute to SIDS

It's safer for very young babies to sleep on their back than their stomach.

Hi, midwives will recommend that babies sleep on there back but Jackson doesn't sleep well on his back so I bought a special monitor that monitors his breathing - so I feel safer xx

Emily Norris yeh, but putting a blanket on him and the pod thing causes even more of a risk. It really doesn't matter if he doesn't sleep well on his back, he doesn't need to until he can successfully hold is head up and roll on his own

Really enjoying your videos! Thanks for helping me prepare for my 3rd - due in 6 months. I'm a little less terrified now. Question: what is it like when your husband / partner is not there at night? My husband works often in the evenings and from 4pm - 8 pm is my current infant's "witching hours" when he's teething and just extra irritable / fussy. Just the exact time I'm making dinner for my preschooler, etc... it generally feels like a mess. Question 2: how early do you get up to look so pretty? You're beautiful without makeup but it's so nice that you take the time to do that for yourself. I wish I would more often...
