Evening Rush Hour on the Champs-Élysées - April 9, 2020

A quick look at rush hour on the Champs-Élysées on Thursday, April 9, 2020. Due to confinement as a result of coronavirus/Covid-19, nobody is allowed to go outside without a special paper and even then only for necessities, such as groceries (as in my case). This was shot with an iPhone on the way to the grocery store. The silence at the beginning (shot on a side street with the avenue in the background) is real. So are the birds chirping on the avenue at the end, as well as all the other sound (or lack of it). Some cars do occasionally pass.

Thank you for the support. These days I don’t have much money or time to make videos. Working and paying the rent seem to take up all resources. Currently I’m confined at home like everyone, but I had to go out for groceries and I shot a few scenes with my iPhone.

Oh my gosh, you're BACK! I was literally thinking about you and have been watching your videos. How are you doing (physically, mentally, and emotionally)? How's everything in Paris? I've been watching your video for years. Good to see a new video from you. Ps, I hope you’re staying safe from this Coronavirus. It’s great to see people in Paris taking it seriously and staying indoors. I’ve never seen Paris so empty and silent like this, especially les rues de Champs-Élysées! Wow.
