“Shoe black” is lay term for the “Hibiscus” Jamaica’s national flower. Long ago some people used it to clean their black dress shoes - thus “shoe black.” That beautiful flower turns black and sticky when crushed. Nice walk.

Such a pleasure watching you and Madge, thank you for showing us the rural Jamaican neighborhoods, really beautiful what I do have to say is you should never want to put children on your vlog . It’s too many different things going on in the world and the children should never be in a vlog , unless you get the permission of their parents, but you should never ask a child independently , if they want to be on the Vlog, I think that’s very dangerous. Otherwise , I love watching your vlog and showing beautiful updates of sweet Jamaica . My grandmother's house is in Cheswick I am very familiar with the entire area as a child but I have not been there for many years I am living in The United States but I know my Island is a beautiful place I also have relatives living in Dalvey I was Tyne and I married into James

Tom I read an article in The Gleaner Sept 2022 about the abandoned work on the purposed Community Centre for Chadwick Community, has there been any further update on the project ? Also do you have plans to do a video to showcase what the community will be doing for Independence Day celebrations?

No updates on community centre yet, but hopefully 🤞 some roadwork and water line work will be done. I don’t know what I’ll be filming for independence. 👍
