I would just build the back of it real strong, like I did mine. Maybe throw a couple of extra braces in there. Then go play. It will probably need a long shaft engine too. Good luck and thanks for watching.

Chud327, I have watched a boatload (pun intended) of your videos since subscribing (thanks COVID) and among the many, many compliments I could lavish upon you, one that I MUST include is your "attitude". I'm not sure if that is the right word but in the last week I have seen things break, pieces be too long, too short, too crooked, to straight, just plain old wrong, sideways, backwards, and once in a while fit perfectly the very first time and in each and every instance you are as calm and steady as in all the other instances. Your "oh well, I guess I'll have to work around that " attitude is a tremendous attribute in life (and building boats from bottle caps, plastic straws, an old shopping cart and some nails you had lying around). It will be a tremendous blessing to your sons to have had a Dad who responds to adversity and bumps in the road as you do. Admiringly yours, Another Dad
