+1 for following up annual events when they're due again. I find people are actually very pleased to here from me. I guess it makes sense because you've just saved them a bunch of work having to look up who they used last time & contact them.

We always send a thank you and request for review with link after the event. This has worked great for our Google and FB reviews. But you got me thinking about a small discount as well.

Another off season strategy of mine is to do an early bird booking discount. Something small like $100 off a $5000 job. And that discount expires at a certain date. I mark all mine as expiring on Jan 1, 2024 so it’s easy to remember and update quotes.

I am against discounts as a way to bring again the client. If they re book we offer free item or free delivery, but I stay away of obvious discounts. This year we will focus on video testimonials right after the event, while the energy is high. And we will try google ads, as Facebook is overcrowded and people are in other state of mind.
