Hi people! I am back with my review (This is completely personal and you do not have to agree with me). 57.18 (timestamp), I caught Imagine Nepal using previous week’s reaction footage. Did you all notice? 0. Sudur Paschim: Bold move to criticize the Prime Minister, loved it! What an introduction; hands down Nepal.Food and team are the most creative and trendy!!! I think and I hope the audio issue is a technical issue on the show’s part and not the film’s issue. Positives: They used the local language and translated it; storytelling in a local language hits different, such a great idea. The cinematography is out of this world. It is also very clever to use a popular actress throughout your video and the back and forth video battle and meeting at the end was such a wholesome concept. The repetition of the narration was great, adding so much to the film! I cannot believe tourism has not reached S.P. This video gave me GOOSEBUMPS, made me EMOTIONAL and all different emotions- this was everything!!! # MAKE THE AAMA VIRAL Critic: NOTHING!! Still, there is always room for improvement. Would have loved to see how tourism could boost the local economy there. Score: 9.7 1. Gandaki: This is the best VIDEO from Darshan so far. One thing I’d like to point out on what Darshan said at the start - One thing we should learn in our personal-professional life is to say “NO”. If someone does not want to commit to something due to whatever reasons (busy schedule, not interested), we should respect that. Darshan should not be sad that people did not want to join him on this project; it is wrong to have expectations from others in the first place and bring that up in the show. I say “NO” to people all the time and I have my reasons; I expect them to respect it and be a professional! Positives: Really loved the cinematography; being an adventure freak, I am jealous of the activities shown in the video. The circle/triangle of life concept is self-explanatory and I loved it! Gandaki is so beautiful! Critic: Because the theme is tourism activities, I would have loved some basic information like where? What? How does it help the economy of the locality? cost/price? This looked more like a trailer than a whole documentary. Score: 7.6 2. Lumbini: I think they are taking the competition seriously now and listening to feedback! Positives: Such an important message about responsible tourism while also showcasing the tourism activities; they were lucky to spot so many amazing birds and animals. Finally, they have realized the importance of narration and it is so great! I have been to Bardiya once and they have shown the NP really well. This is a really thought-provoking video. Critic: I found it a bit ironic that while delivering the message of responsible tourism, they are making the same mistakes by going on a jeep safari and using a drone (noise) and going into the water that scares away birds and animals who come to hunt or drink there); This is tricky!!. I would have appreciated it if they’d practiced what they preached. (Forgive me if I am wrong and they actually took steps to make the visit disturbance-free for the banya-jantus). Score: 8 3. Karnali: This was such a nostalgic video, like I am watching an old vlog of when I actually lived my life to the fullest. The line “When you have nothing to do, you live!” is great but to add I think it is important to remember and practice to live even when you have a lot of other things to do, because in life you will have responsibilities but how you manage your time and remember the existence of “I” is more important; how to be intentional is more important. I really loved the candidness of this video, they showed us the direction processes, engagement with the locals, and raw moments of the team members. The storyline was so well thought of: My interpretation is, they as outsiders/travelers visited Karnali and had the time of their life there doing different activities, showing Karnali from their POV. Critic: Tourism activities??? You could have shown the possibility of trekking in Karnali, for example and how it could boost the economy of the province since you have shown the struggles of people before; I was looking for a connection with other Karnai videos from the last episodes. Score: 8.5 THANKS FOR READING :)

Still Nepal.food has to explore beyond it. Ajai Mathi ko begh ma ta explore garnai parne ho. Tourism activities as a topic liye, Sudurpachimko Tourism activities explore minimum paaye. Dherai cha explore garna lai. Huna pani maathi jaana Ali garo bhayera pani hola. But still heart touching, especially doteli bhasa ko voice over, which completely expresses the struggle, experience a person had, has and will have if no further development happens.

hmm intersting approaches by all 4 teams ! - Darsan's philosophy with mind blogging cinematography , FPV work and final landing was very different but nicely presented ! -Abin showed how traveling and detaching from the activity of the rich actually gets u a chance to know ur self , know ur friends ! -Kishor dai put all his biodiversity clips into tourist activity and all his people and culture clips into biodiversity segment ! ahaha , but damn that man knows his frames and the patience to hold on to a good shot ! -Nepal food is becoming a better storyteller with each subsequent video , last samma ma most improved strory teller chai he's gonna be for sure ! looking forward to the remaining three tomorrow ! but for now Darshan surely deserves the props from the 4 today , ( my personal opinion )

It would have been wonderful to hear this from Bhusan Dahal. But, Following is what I would say, if I was on his chair. Imagine Nepal and Abin and others,Its great to have philosophy, a spiritual backing, that drives you and makes you do what you do. It just makes you a better human being that translates into your work as well. You all are great content creators, inching towards being great filmmakers. . But, please remember why are you in this program??….to represent Nepal in the global arena. This is not the right platform to raise environmental or social issues or your spiritual leanings. This platform is to create attractive content that would drive foreigners to come to Nepal to spend their dollars, not to feel sorry or pity on the condition of the Nepalese. we practically have seen enough of that throughout our lives in the videos coming from biggest medias of the world and are fed up of the image that is portrayed about Nepal. Nepalese who travel/ live abroad are fed up of this pitiful look they get when, they proudly mention where they are from. Largely contributed by the perception of Nepal portrayed by majority of international media, with information they gather from NGO’s and INGO’s operating on Nepalese issues. Which society doesn’t have any issues? Some have more some have less. I have found Mansi’s videos to the point. Its how you are package your product makes it stand out in the supermarket shelves. Similar is marketing on tourism which she seems to understand to its core. Of course the product has to be of great quality too. But packaging and marketing is what draws people in. So stick to the theme and create content that we can actually share with our foreign friends and tell them that Nepal is not all about economically backward people with baggage full of issues. I believe most of the viewers shAre my view including Suraj Thakuri and Bhusan Dahal. Other than that, its. a fantastic show and love all the passion and energy put by all the content creators. Kudos to ya’ll !!!

Team Darshan - Gandaki Province - Nice attempt but I would say just an above average presentation. Many many missed opportunities for this team to take their depiction of Gandaki Province in terms of people & culture, biodiversity, food and culinary arts and tourism activities to the next level. This is all how I felt after watching all the episodes. The team has mostly focussed on the himalayan region of Gandaki Pradesh. Leaving some exceptions, the most popular place of Nepal (Pokhara) does not exist at all in their presentations. How can they ignore the heart of Gandaki province?

I am talking about the quality of it, the video itself, and it was a more of biodiversity category. However, if you exclude the topic/category from here, video is quite phenomenal! In the Lumbini state there are beautiful high hill districts like Rolpa, Gulmi, pyuthan, arghakhanchi, palpa n one mountain district rukum ... Here magar community share 30-40 perecent of population... They shown nothing about all the community, their dresses, their faces, culture, jatra, people, food ... My question is what and how he researching? If you don't know anything then just ask one people of every district ..they will tell you everything about that ... Look at others they are trying to touch almost every districts ..n by watching their videos I know lot of things about bagmati districts culture people food, Susie paschim , eastern Pradesh etc .. but team kishor 1st episode he shown - scene from Lumbini , 2nd episode- just a river , 3rd episode - one street of nepalgunj, 4th - again Lumbini and bardiya district ... Where are the people culture community, tourism, food , places from arghakhanchi, pyuthan , Rolpa, rukum, palpa , Gulmi, and famous cities like butwal ... Do you know one of the famous food here is chukauni donut , batuk etc but he was showing jalebi, samosa from nepalgunj ...do you know one of the famous n unique culture here is saray nach, magar dance their culture, khas culture here, historical places like tansen, famous dishes from tansen, beautiful places like tansen, supra deurali, swargdwari, jaljala, taksera, resunga , Rani Mahal and 100s out there ... What's the meaning of this show if he is not showing what actually lumbni state is ...his videos is okay if show name was cinemotygraphy competition and if team name was kapilbastu or nepalgunj not Lumbini state ..... ...

Now tell me what do you know about Lumbini state by just watching kishor's 4 episode... The thing he showing and the reality is completely different ... What are the famous places here? I am not sure if the videos on this episode depicts any tourism activities. However, There is no question that the videos are amazing and has story to tell. Sports…there are many native sports in our country..we can promote that. Do we really require to follow foreign sports to be sporty? Well im calling it foreign because the artist said, in Nepal he doesnt see it growing.. I really like the idea of an artist trying to reflect sustainable tourism. He could have been more articulate during presentation. Right, some innovative eco and culture friendly interventions should be introduced
