Great idea coming out with this as a stand alone pedal. I had an H9 Max and when I sold it this was the effect I missed the most. Everything Eventide puts out is extremely hi-fi and this effect gets really epic when the volume is cranked. Really like the infinite hold feature too.

This is the most exciting release from Eventide because I only liked the Blackhole settings in the H9 or Space and I don't like big pedals you have to tweak. When I play live or in the studio I need a pedal I can tweak fast on the fly and can't get lost in sub-menus. So this is the perfect pedal for me!

Ryan Bertelli I think the Space is more user friendly , tapping to choose you presets....but will check into this unit, never have enough of good reverb

I have many reverb machines including Big Sky, Specular Tempus, Lexicon, Meris, Eventide Space.... you name it. I know it sounds crazy, but in my opinion nothing beats the classic QuadraVerb. The Blackhole pedal is awesome but, something is missing to make it superior and special. Sounds very cold and the wideness of the reverb is not so big. We have to wait until someone testing it with synths.

The BigSky is also a very good reverberator. But the Empress is so heavily overpriced that I never cared about testing it.
