I knew you would get along with it, and the Axe would become the perfect interface to it. A lot of this is already built into the Axe. Eventide kicked it up a notch with the Orville, 8000, & 9000 for the fact you can load up 2 or more presets and utilize the sampler. Again, a lot of this is covered in the Axe. Series/Parallel has always been the Achilles heel, and the Axe should let you route both methods easily. Pre/Post. Where you would benefit is to have your effects going in/out of your interface with plugins on that channel, so you can control the levels accurately and possibly EQ the wet side independently. Again, inside the Axe this should all be possible. Proud of you. Congrats.

Hey Leon! Much appreciation to Brian for sending you one of his Eventides, Very cool of him to do that! Now you know why I said I'd never sell my H3000 a few months ago. I upgraded the firmware to this model, and it is everything you described here, and more, as you'll find out soon enough. While today's pedals have really come up in quality, and can do much more than they could back in the 80's, they are still a far cry from this kind of fidelity. You should really give this beast a go with some of the ADA preamps. Then you'll have an idea what my world sounds like. (For parallel effects loops, I use a Rane SM-26 to split to three stereo loops. I can run those to three separate stereo power amps, or sum them back to two channel stereo with another SM-26).

Good one, Brian Hook! But you too Leon, because you showed the essence of the H3000 there; that point where your guitar feels like a more powerfull weapon all of a sudden. I've collected a reasonal number of units by now, but very few units zempower' like that (pcm81 if well programmed / TC M5000/ Orville) but the H3000 is the king of that. So whatever algoritm you're going to do, please try to find a way to explain / show / let us hear that magic somehow. I think you did a good job at it with this video in any case! Ps: the function generator is the most eleborate of any effects machine (untill eventide brought it back in an update of the H8000. It's not even in the Orville), so definitly do one episode on all the tremelo/pan/modulation options there! Uu
