@@italoop7850 I like your humor )) but I want this instrument ))) it especially beautifies the sound )) plug-ins for me are cleaner ))) I have a question for you )) I am in love with Lexikon device (70,80,90 ) and I need everything in one device (delay, chorus, reverb), I understand that the 80 series is just for me. but in your experience, does pcm 80/81 have enough reverb presets to cover the needs of mixing?

@@Mike2NightBeatz PCM81 is what you need if you want everything in a single device. Verbs are nice. PCM91 can add more to the reverb quality but it doesn't offer reverb post-processing like the 81... so that may be your best choice. I don't know your needs, what kind of sources you will be processing.... In general prefer the 81/91 over the 80/90 as they are newer and offer more algorithms/presets and better converters, AES/EBU too. Nice machines!

Eventide H8000 vs eclipse which do you think would win ?

@@soundsokok Eclipse has a slightly darker tone while the H8000 is more balanced. Eclipse converters are great on single instruments or tracks. the H8000 converters can handle full mixes too. There are reasons why an H8000 costs almost 3 times more....

Its sad that dsp 7000 was made 18 years ago but still cost 1500$ :/

Well... that's not exactly the rule! With some patience you can find better deals as I have seen several Orvilles going for less than 2000$. On the other hand it's also understandable that expensive HIGH quality products carry some good value along, in time. That's also the case of several other machines older than the DSP7000. Lexicon 200/224XL or 480 are still way more expensive than a 7000... so... consider yourself lucky and look better. If you are a Reverb searcher.... well... that's a lost place.

More local (for big cities). Go more local.... Check Gearslutz.... Ebay can be ok sometimes.... But I never bought anything off those websites. I don't buy from web... I test units in the flesh.

If you want this Sound (currently) get a #1 Compressor (Wampler Ego), #2 Strymon Big Sky, #3 Free the Tone Tri Avatar MultiDimensional Chorus or the Shiva Little Wave, #4 Boss PS-6 (Detune). & #5 high-end Delay Pedal. (Yes- its' not Cheap) however . . . I Promise, you will Spend Less Money and it will be just as Lush (as I have heard it 1st hand)

It ain't to be cheaper s the H8000 is NOW cheap, being the H9000 out. PLUS: -Most of the algorithms you hear in this clip are not even possible on any pedal. No FM modulation, No multiple detuners cascades in series AND parallel, no gliding modulation, no multitap delays (8 lines) w/Xfeedback, no random modulation w/selectble ranges., no Waveshaping modulation, let alone the possibility to blend these different techniques. You can't set how the LFOs and audio phases work on a pedal, the amount of off phase degrees. Working at TRUE line levels with high voltages makes sure your tone and the effects sound as good as the best technology allows... pedals are low voltage/instrument levels... so they kill sounds. If you know how people work in a studio you can understand that. And more advantages... no silly power adaptors nest, no gtr cables... as here you run audio on balanced lines, no noise and FULL MIDI support to control any parameter within your presets. LAST BUT NOT LEAST... you can design your own algorithms with Vsigfile editor, creating just about any type of chorus and other fx and route them as you like. The H8000FW has two engines so you can load two algorithms, very large ones, and process a full band if you want. Or you'll have two full racks at your feet,; no need to carry around square meters of low quality sounding pedal-toys. Travel small, powerful and creative as nothing else. If you haven't tried an Eventide... go learn and you'll know better!

No such thing as a high end delay pedal. Only high price. Pedals are toys.
