@LeonTodd Wait... you have the Stevie Ray Vaughan signature Roland rack reverb... any idea what Zakk's settings were, and if there's an algorithm in the H90 that might get close? I just went with the vintage stereo setting in the SP2016 algo for now.

So.. after a few weeks playing I’ve totally fallen for the Spacetime algorithm. Been messing around with midi settings and discovered that you can turn the reverb, delay and modulation ‘virtual pedals’ on and off with a CC message… instant pedalboard.

Comment #100! The H9 is unbeatable. Other stuff sounds good too, but nothing sounds better. Except maybe the H90. You sound great Leon. Are you running a stereo rig? My tremoverb algo has mono-depth instead of stereo-depth, but is otherwise the same. Thats probably why.

Hey Leon great vid! Got a question for ya. I have the Marshall JVM410HJS and thinking about going for an all in one with it. Would you do the AX8 or the Eventide H9Max for effects. I also have a midi controller. Which one is easiest and mainly only want it for effects unless there is something better to put in the effects loop. What is your suggestion? Thanks
@Techo1329
@Techo1329 4 жыл бұрын
Hey man, I'm on the same mission and have all but settled on the GT-1000 Core as the device to bring bucket loads of capability to my Marshall combo. Planing to put the Core on a small board with my old Crybaby and SD-1, the old pedals into one of the Core's loops and the Core in the amps loop via 4CM. Really attracted to the Core for its fully programmable 24 block signal chain and its ability to switch the amps channels within a patch.
@axeman7352
@axeman7352 4 жыл бұрын
@@Techo1329 my bass player told me he had a GT1000 now that I think of it that he didn't use. Maybe I'll borrow his and try it out. I run my SD-1, chorus, volume, and Morley wah up front and my 2nd volume, delay, and reverb in the loop. Looking for more effects and less equipment mainly without noticeable switching. I ran the TC G-Major 2 rack (midi)and it didn't seem to change without delays on certain settings. I want an easy setup and tear down. I went from my Marshall to the H&K GM40 and it does everything except I can't quite get my Marshall tone I want, otherwise it is awesome for easy.

Leon I love your channel but I kind of dont like how you almost thumb the 80s...look many bands and I was in many of them didnt like that term back then, to us we considered POISON a hair metal band or Bon Jovi you know the "Happy Metal" crap many of us dressed in Leather and denim much like you do now....we considered that an insult even back then. I laugh when these kids try to knock the 80s...the girls had big hair short skirts with heels, they didn't run around in potato sacks, and the gyys never looked like they had a load of shit in their pants haha our pants FIT.

A significant portion of my favourite music ever made comes from the 80s, so if anything comes across as snarky towards it it's not intentional. Must have been so much fun to be playing in a band back then.
