You should really keep a space above your Apollos . The manual calls for under 104 degrees ambient air . A lot of units go for repair because of blocking the tops

What do you think about the Neve 2254 r mono limiter compressor? I’m thinking of getting a 1073 SPX and then going through the 2254 compressor for a vocal chain. Any Ideas or suggestions.

Nice, Archie. Good review. Excellent machine. Unfortunately, too $ for my thin wallet. I am in the market for something akin to it...though at a less threatening my survival cost. A.R.T. just came out with something similar (of course, more basic and not in the same top shelf league) in their Solo line for about $300. Closer to my sweet spot. Have a great Turkey Day!
