EVENTING GOES WRONG // We didn't make it past dressage...

I'll let you see for yourself exactly what happens in this vlog, but it's safe to say it wasn't our finest day out eventing, but Atty's welfare will always be number 1 to me.

Goodness Flo what would of happened, had he done this going flat out xc? You both could have been seriously hurt, everything happens for a reason, and I commend you at 19 for your positive attitude and genuine love for your beautiful eyed horse, his eyes are amazing.

ugh, i also almost always forget something! i've even tried making packing lists but there are just too many little things! hahah. this season I forgot my horse's ice boots to a competition. Another competition I failed to bring a 0 fill rain sheet that I had just purchased-- the first two days of the show was absolute deluge, ugh. another show this season I forgot to bring Quick Braid. I've also forgot my book to read at night before bed to unplug and relax. Too much stuff! LOL

I know it is disappointing but thankfully you noticed before something happened with Attie or with you both god forbid and you noticed early and did not get to the xcountry where you would of needed your brakes etc so glad you are both safe

What a bummer! Is it common that they won't allow you to continue with the phases just exhibiting and not competing? Here in my area for United States Eventing, they almost always allow a competitor to continue unless there is a safety concern such as--if you are disqualified from SJ for refusals, they will not let you go out on XC...but if you have a technical elimination (say, you went over the wrong jump) they will usually allow you to continue. Although, if you are permitted to continue, then the first penalty points/refusal you must get off the course. Anyways, what a bummer! All that time and effort for a very short competition :-( Thanks for sharing the lows of our beloved sport :-)

you did the best thing for atti and that is the main thing would have thought they will let you still go jumping so thats a shame as you did nothing wrong
