I absolutely love the Along for the Ride series. It's great to show what life at a real barn is and how rewarding but busy it is. I really love this series and I hope you guys keep doing it. Great job!!!!

Huge kudos to these riders---the best thing you can do for a horse is find what he loves--this horse that Stephanie owns is stunning, and what a lovely rider and person she is to realize that maybe he isn't enjoying what she enjoys--it's SUCH a hard decision to move on, when you love the horse, but in the end, it's the best decision all around. I hope Stephanie has found the right horse and is doing well :)

I really appreciate how you discuss all the "downs" that come with horse ownership, and not just showcase all the good stuff. My TB has chronic problems and I get really upset and frustrated because I feel like other people have 0 problems with their horses and I just got unlucky. These videos have helped to show me that everyone hits the rough spots and you have to take the good with the bad. :)

I totally adore this series. Im kind of in Stephanie's situation in the sense that my horse and I are like 1 step forward 5 steps back. My horse was an eventer but we are trying to turn her into a hunter... we are thinking of selling as it just isn't her cup of tea. It will always be a tricky decision though.

Wish I had some old hay hooks to send you guys. Doesn't help in the throwing the hay up into the barn, but they are really a help in getting the bales off the wagon. Simpathetically, I could feel the heat and humidity up at the top of your barn.

I'm wondering about your process for ruling out pain or discomfort for a horse who is "misbehaving" or "challenging" you a bit such as Breeze is is in this episode, i.e. how do you know that it's a mental issue rather than physical? Great series btw and congrats to Jimmie on qualifying for Rolex!

hiya, I am struggling with setting out poles, how many strides in between trotting poles for a 13.3 hand pony, and the same for canter poles, plz can someone tell me, I was hoping in either human steps or in when you put you toe to heel if u understand. Also a vid on how to set up a great, fun and interezting jump course would be good, thank you x

This past weekend my family and I unloaded six hundred or so bales of hay for our three horses in 90 degree heat. it definitely is a pain and I felt dead the next day

I assumed this was Australian for some reason, where are they? Ah the joys of hay stacking, we had over 970 bails come off the paddocks last year but at least we get it cheap and it sure is worth the effort come winter XD

@joannab729910 жыл бұрын
See, this is why I don't want to work at a stable in exchange for riding lessons, all they do is yell at you when you do something wrong. The trainer is the one who needs to explain better and speak louder (Not yelling just speak up we can't hear you when were like 100 feet away from you on horseback). And, "I'm going to start calling you Stephanie," wow... I wonder if Stephanie heard that, if I were Stephanie and heard that I would slap Dom right across the face!
@joannab72999 жыл бұрын
***** Well, I am guessing you don't know that a jokes can be found offencive.
@kek.3079 жыл бұрын
Actually I've done a clinic with Dom, and he is one of he nicest trainers I've ever ridden with. Yes he jokes around but most of us are mature enough to realize that he is not being serious (I am 14 so)
@kek.3079 жыл бұрын
Also in another video Stephanie did the wrong jump order and they were joking about that, Stephanie as well
@jennm38219 жыл бұрын
He meant that as a joke. They always joke around because Steph sometimes ends up going to the wrong jump... More times than Jimmie does. He was just joking about it
